Heavy oil resources have a large number of casing failure problems during the development process.Effectively solving the problem of casing failure in steam injection well can enhance the economic benefits of the oilfield.This paper investigates casing failure in Liaohe oilfield.Analyzing the reasons of casing failure of steam injection well.Steam injecting is a main reason of casing failure,it needs a further simulation analysis.Using the finite element simulation software ABAQUS to establish the casing-cement-formation finite element model of steam injection well.Analyzing the transient temperature field of the steam injection well.Simulating the stress and strain of casing.This paper stimulates the process of 15-days steam injection and 15-days steam soak.Finding the trend of the temperature changes in near-wellbore formations.Comparing the relationship of the yield strength of casing N80/TP100 H and the effect thermal stress of the casing under the high temperature and other factors such as injection pressure/casing wall thickness/cyclic steam injection.Finding the reasons of casing failure of the steam injection well.And the reasonable prevention measures are put forward for the casing of the steam injection well.
