Because of its superior comprehensive performance,35CrMo steel is widely used in important structural parts bearing high loads and oil machinery bearing bending,torsion,impact and vibration.In recent years,the development of petroleum and natural gas industry has developed in the direction of deep well,ultra deep well and complex oil and gas reservoir,and has put forward higher requirements for the materials of drilling and mining tools and equipment.In dealing with the formation of complex structures,traditional machining can not meet all processing needs.Electrochemical machining is capable of processing various complex surfaces efficiently by using the principle of electrochemical dissolution and has its unique processing advantages.Therefore,the research on the ECM characteristics of 35CrMo steel is of great significance to the future production of petroleum machinery.Based on this,this paper studies the electrochemical machining performance of35CrMo steel material,compares and analyzes the processing effect of three kinds of electrolyte of 35CrMo steel in NaCl,NaClO3 and NaNO3 with different concentration and current density,and finds the optimal processing parameters in the test range.First,according to the experimental requirements of the materials studied,a test bed for electrolytic processing of 35CrMo steel was designed and produced,including three main parts,the main body of the test bed,the control system and the electrolyte circulation.And then,three electrolytes of NaCl,NaClO3 and NaNO3 were used on the test rig for electrochemical machining of 35CrMo steel,to research the influence of different electrolyte concentration and current density on the surface quality and shape accuracy of workpiece after processing.The results show that when the current density is 40A/cm2and the electrolyte concentration is 100g/L,the electrolytic process of 35CrMo steel has the best effect with NaCl as the electrolyte.When choose NaClO3 as the electrolyte,the current density is 30A/cm2 and the electrolyte concentration is 200g/L,the electrolytic processing effect of 35CrMo steel is the best.When NaNO3 is used as electrolyte,the effect of ECM on 35CrMo steel is best when the current density is 40A/cm2 and the electrolyte concentration is 300g/L.After comparing and analyzing the different processing effects of three kinds of electrolyte,it is concluded that within the scope of experimental research the optimum electrochemical machining condition of 35CrMo steel is using 200g/L NaClO3 as electrolyte and setting the current density at 30A/cm2.Under this condition,the workpiece has good surface quality,high precision and the surface roughness can reach Ra1.1?m.
