Research On Kovel’s Ecological Values

In the 1960 s and 1990 s,as the material level of people’s living increased,the ecological environment became more and more serious.In this context,North American eco-socialist thinkers will focus more on ecological damage.Among them,Joel Kovel(also translated as "Joel Cowell")is one of the important leaders of ecological socialism in North America.He proposed the establishment of ecological values ? ? through the discussion of the root causes of ecological crisis.As the core socialist society,I believe that this is the only way to solve the ecological crisis.This paper mainly studies Kolver’s ecological values ??from the formation path,main content and evaluation.It focuses on the theoretical stand of Marxism and its ecological values.The enlightenment of China’s environmental protection practice and the construction of socialist ecological civilization.The full text is divided into four parts.The introduction part analyzes and examines the definition of values and ecological values.Then it examines the social background and theoretical background of the ecological values of KWOL and introduces the writing ideas of the full text.The first chapter explores the social background and theoretical sources of the formation of Korver’s ecological values.As time goes by,the global ecological environment is becoming more and more severe.Kwal borrowed the ecological thought of Marxism.Under the influence of O’Connor and "Green Economics",he began to deeply reflect on the ecological environment and formed his unique ecological values.The second chapter systematically analyzes the ecological values of KWOV.On the one hand,it shows that Kwal advocates new anthropocentrism and emphasizes that its ecological values are to strive for the unity of ecological balance and ecological development,to strive for the unity of economic value and natural value,and to strive for the unity of scientific value and natural value.On the other hand,the roots of Khel’s human ecological problems are summarized in the capitalist system and the capitalist mode of production itself.The third chapter discusses the enlightenment of KWOV’s ecological values o theconstruction of contemporary Chinese ecological civilization from two angles.Divided into three sections,the first section summarizes the main theoretical contributions of Kelly’s ecological values.Kwarva adhered to the dual transformation of ecological values and socialism,and improved and developed Marx’s ecological thought.The second section analyzes the Utopia of Kwark’s ecological values and the limitations of partiality.The third section clarifies the enlightenment of its ecological values to China’s ecological civilization from the perspectives of cultural construction,economic construction and social construction.
