Industrial heating furnace is an important thermal equipment.Its performance directly determines the normal operation of rolling production line and product quality.Therefore,the research on temperature field of billet heated by reheating furnace is of great value to improve the quality of iron and steel products and the benefit of iron and steel enterprises.First of all,this paper takes the regenerative walking furnace as the specific research object.The detailed technical parameters and problems in the production process are introduced.The material properties of the heated billet are given.Secondly,the heating process of billet is analyzed.The boundary condition and the initial condition are set.The convection heat transfer coefficient and radiation heat transfer coefficient of the billet in the walking bottom reheating furnace are calculated.Then the heat transfer process is simplified.The comprehensive heat transfer coefficient of billet heating is obtained by converting convection heat into radiation heat.The three-dimensional transient nonlinear finite element analysis of billet temperature field is carried out by using the finite element software ANSYS.The reliability of the numerical simulation data is verified by comparing the simulation results with the measured values of billet towing test.Finally,in order to fully develop the capacity of the heating furnace and achieve the purpose of energy conservation,emission reduction,cost reduction and efficiency improvement,The existing production process of billet is optimized.Under the conditions of changing the heating process of reheating furnace and increasing the initial temperature of billet,the temperature field distribution of billet is simulated.The simulation results show that: When the heating time is reduced by 40 minutes,the temperature distribution in the billet can still reach the discharging standard.On this basis,The total heating time can be further reduced to 7300 s by increasing the initial temperature of billet to 500 ?.And the differences of temperature billet simulation in this new process is less than the requirement of temperature difference.At the same time,the annual consumption of fuel in the process of heating furnace production is reduced,and the production cost is greatly reduced.In this paper,based on the numerical simulation of the heating process of billet,the optimization way of billet heating process is given the theoretical feasibility of the optimization method is verified by numerical simulation,which provides a reference for the practical optimization and application of the heating process of the reheating furnace.
