With the development of the Nuclear power industry,the demand for nuclear power forgings is growing.The MSR tube plate is the important forging for nuclear power plants.The special shape and performance requirements of the tube plate,the technical level of the forging process and heat treatment of high level requirements.In order to obtain the tube plate qualified,meet the requirements for an ultrasonic flaw detection and good performance,must through the forging process to eliminate or reduce the casting defects,and make the forging close to finished product shape as far as possible.The deformation processing combined with upsetting,stretching,cross rotary extruding and profile modeling forging,are formulated.In order to reduce the cost and improve the success rate,the numerical simulations of the formulated processing were made through finite element software DEFORM-3D.The MSR tube plate forging is made of 60T ingot.The processing of upsetting,WHF wide anvil stretching,cross rotary extruding and profile modeling forging with special tools are simulated.According to the simulation results,the deformation processing parameters are optimized and the MSR tube plate forging is successfully forged on the first time.
