With the advancement of technology and the rapid growth of the global economy, environmental problems are getting worse.Among them, the carbon emission problem ranks first among the top ten environmental problems in the world. The Yangtze River Economic Belt, which accounts for 40%of the country's total, has a carbon emissions ratio of 45%.Although the country has successively introduced a number of carbon emission reduction implementation plans, the effect is not significant. In the existing research, the department's carbon emissions are measured from the production side, but the method only considers its own carbon consumption, and does not consider the carbon emissions generated by using other sectors.Implied carbon emissions are a measure of the total amount of carbon dioxide produced directly or indirectly by a product or service in the production process based on direct carbon emissions. This paper takes the carbon emissions of the industrial sectors of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2002,2007,and 2012 as the research object, and explores the implied carbon emissions of various industrial sectors and the transfer of carbon emissions among various industrial sectors, and analysis the industrial sectors with large carbon emissions's(equipment manufacturing, chemical industry, and electric power, gas and water production and supply industry)carbon emission reduction potential.First, according to the "National Economic Industry Classification" and the actual situation of the energy consumption of the industrial sector of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,23 industrial sectors were merged into 11 departments, and the input-output model was used to calculate the implied carbon emissions of various industrial sectors; Then, using social network analysis method to study the relationship between carbon emissions among industrial sectors and the role of various industrial sectors in the carbon emission network;finally, combined with the analysis of the first two chapters, through the exponential decomposition method for equipment manufacturing, chemistry Industrial, electric power, gas and water production and supply industries analyze carbon emission potential from four aspects:energy structure, energy efficiency, per capita output, and total population.Through the above analysis, the following conclusions are drawn:?although the equipment manufacturing industry uses less fossil energy, but the implied carbon emissions of the equipment manufacturing industry are large, indicating that the industrial sector has a greater demand for carbon emissions from other industries during the production process;?petroleum, coking products and nuclear fuel The processing industry uses a large amount of fossil energy, and has low demand for carbon emissions from other industrial sectors;?The production and supply of electric power, gas and water not only has a large amount of fossil energy, but also has a large demand for intermediate products provided by other industrial sectors, and the corresponding carbon emission demand is also large;?Equipment manufacturing, chemical industry, textile and garment processing industry are at the center of the carbon emission network, and the chemical industry has a very important connection in the implicit carbon emission network of the industrial sector of the Yangtze River Economic Belt;? Energy structure and energy efficiency have a negative effect on carbon emissions, and energy efficiency has a greater impact;?Per capita output and total population have a positive effect on carbon emissions, and the impact of per capita output is more obvious.Based on the above conclusions, relevant policy recommendations are proposed for equipment manufacturing, petroleum, coking products and nuclear fuel processing industries, electric power, gas and water production and supply industries, including improving energy use structure, improving energy efficiency, and optimizing industrial structure.Improve economic growth efficiency, focus on technological innovation, and increase the proportion of clean energy use.The innovations and main work of this paper are as follows:Although the input-output method can study the carbon emissions correlation between various industrial sectors, the scope of research is limited to the linear linkage between the industrial sectors, and most of the existing literature only focuses on the implicitcarbon emissions transfer of a single sector.Although social network analysis has been widely used in recent years, there is less literature on the relationship between implicit carbon emissions in industrial sectors. This paper combines the input-output method and the social network analysis method, and regards the implicit carbon emission of the industrial sector of the Yangtze River Economic Belt as a network, and studies the implicit carbon emission correlation between various industrial sectors from the perspective of overall network characteristics and departmental characteristics. As the energy consumption data of industrial sectors in Hubei Province and Guizhou Province are not provided, further supplements and improvements are needed in the subsequent work, and then the carbon emissions correlation research and carbon emission reduction potential analysis are carried out.
