Tool manufacturing companies have very high requirements on the shape accuracy,dimensional accuracy and position accuracy of the tools.In order to ensure the quality of the tools,the tool manufacturing companies must test the accuracy of the tools.The traditional tool detection method is to use a dial indicator and special Inspecting the table frame,the inspector uses the observation method to read the value on the dial for sampling inspection.This manual method for inspecting the tool often results in misdetection and missed inspection due to factors such as visual fatigue of the inspector,and the inspection efficiency is low.Machine vision inspection technology has many advantages such as fast speed,high inspection accuracy,non-contact and so on.It is widely used in the inspection of workpiece size.With the emergence of tool presetter based on machine vision,when using tool presetter to measure tools Need to remove the tool,and then put it back into the machine tool to continue processing after the measurement,which cannot meet the on-machine measurement.With the further popularization of automatic tool production,manufacturing companies want to perform online inspection of tool workpieces.Milling cutter online measurement system.This article takes the end mill as the research object and uses machine vision technology to measure the end mill.First,the online measurement system of the end mill is developed,including the hardware design and software architecture.Secondly,the end mill measurement system was calibrated,and the calibration method of Zhang Zhengyou was researched and analyzed.On this basis,a chaotic gray wolf algorithm was proposed to optimize the internal parameters of the camera.Pre-processed the end mill image acquired by the end mill measurement system again,followed by pixel-level edge detection and sub-pixel edge detection on the end mill image,which laid the foundation for accurate measurement of end mill diameter and diameter jump basis.Finally,combining the convenience of C # development and the advantages of OpenCV image processing,the software interface of the end mill online measurement system was developed,and a visual measurement software for end mill that integrated automatic control and image batch processing was designed to realize the end mill Online high-precision and high-efficiency measurement of parameters.The experimental results show that the accuracy of the measuring system in measuring the diameter of the end mill can reach 1?m.The end mill diameter jump also meets the requirements of the national standard,The measurement time is much shorter than the time of the tool presetter.
