Rubber wood is a common artificial fast-growing wood,which is easy to absorb water and deform,easy to burn,and is difficult to be directly applied to furniture and crafts,adding wood modifier can effectively expand the application range of rubber wood.At present,the wood modifiers widely used in the market are mainly single performance modifiers,but single performance wood modifiers can no longer meet people’s needs.In this study,cyanuric chloride was used as the matrix to design and synthesize two multieffect wood modifiers: 2-hexylamino-4-(3-triethoxysilyl-propyl)amino-6-(2-sulfo-ethyl)amino-1,3,5-himetriazine(HAAT),2-hexylamino-4-(2-sulfo-ethyl)amino-6-chloro-1,3,5-himetriazine(HACT).The structure was identified by MS,1H NMR and FT-IR.The final HAAT yield was 73% and HACT yield was 90%.The rubber wood was modified by vacuum pressure impregnation method,and the calcium soap-high temperature curing joint curing modifier was used to improve the erosion resistance of the modifier and make the rubber wood have good waterproof performance and flame retardant performance.The research results show that :(1)Rubber wood was modified by HAAT and HACT / KH550 with different concentrations.With the increase of the impregnation concentration,the density and drug loading rate of rubber wood are increase,and the modifier is evenly distributed inside the wood,where the drug loading rates can reach up to 14.05% and 15.23%,respectively.(2)With the increase of the impregnation concentration,the waterproof performance of the rubber wood is significantly improved.The best effect is when the impregnation concentration is 15wt%.Compared with the material,the surface of the modified rubber wood by 15wt% HAAT has no obvious changes,the contact angle is increased from 0 ° to 59 °,the water absorption rate is reduced from 99.74% to 58.15%,the moisture absorption rate is reduced from 19.24% to 12.91% Dry shrinkage reduced from 11.40% to 6.03%;The contact angle of 15wt% HACT/KH550 modified rubber wood was 53 °,water absorption rate was 58.75%,moisture absorption rate was 12.27%,Air dry shrinkage rate is 7.14%.The research results show that the waterproof performance of HAAT modified materials is better than HACT / KH550 modified materials.(3)Test the flame retardant properties of modified materials by the limiting oxygen index and cone calorimetric(CONE).The results show that with the increase of the impregnation concentration,the flame retardant performance of rubber wood is significantly improved,and the best effect is when the impregnation concentration is 15wt%.Compared with the material,the LOI of 15wt% HAAT modified rubber wood increased from 24.1% to 34.4%,pk-HRR2 decreased by 67.48%,and TSP reduced by 9.22%,Mass increased by 109.08%;15wt% HACT / KH550 modified rubber wood LOI was 36.2%,pk-HRR2 decreased by 73.16%,TSP decreased by 17.21%,and Mass increased by 99.83%.The results of the study show that HAAT and HACT / KH550 have good smoke formation and carbon suppression effects,and the flame retardant effect is equivalent.Using Raman spectroscopy to analyze the residual carbon of rubber wood after combustion,the results show that the degree of graphitization of the modified rubber wood residual carbon is significantly improved,and the HAAT modification effect is better than HAAT / KH550,which is consistent with the CONE test results.Further using scanning electron microscope-X-ray energy spectroscopy(SEM-EDS)to analyze the residual carbon of HAAT modified materials,it was found that after the HAAT modification,the rubber wood formed a continuous and dense carbon layer structure during the combustion process.Compared to more stable.The Coats-Redfern method was used to study the pyrolysis weightlessness of HAAT modified materials.It was found that HAAT can promote the pyrolysis of wood to char during the combustion process,and has good flame retardant effect of the condensed phase.Research shows that both HAAT and HACT / KH550 can give rubber wood good waterproof and flame retardant properties,but the modification effect of HAAT is slightly better than that of HACT/KH550.
