Research On Aesthetic Characteristics And Application Of Embroidered Purses In Qing Dynasty

Qing dynasty embroidered pouches boast diverse shapes,exquisite workmanship,and gorgeous decorative patterns.They carry profound artistic value and folk implications.Meanwhile,it also integrates practical functions and aesthetic value.It is an important component of the traditional costume culture.However,with the marginalization of the traditional costume etiquette,the popularity of such pouches has also been fading away.This paper summarizes the origin and evolution of pouches,analyzes the development timeline,manner of wearing,and the code associated with the hanging of Qing embroidered pouches.In addition,a specific section has also been dedicated to explain the reasons for the emergence and development of the items from the economic,ritual and cultural perspectives.Moreover,by combining the research and analysis of museum collections and heirlooms with information from existing literature,this paper discusses the shape features,pattern inspirations,colors,and workmanship,among many other aesthetic characteristics,providing a conducive contribution to the better understanding and grasping of the decorative art and aesthetic values of Qing embroidered pouches.By studying the categories of pouches,the relationship between shape and function was explored;some classic embroidering methods were collected through repeated practice of the embroidering methods.The biomimetic shapes and patterns reflect the creative thoughts of"inspired by nature" and "making the best use of everything".Furthermore,the paper summarizes the design ideas from such perspectives as creative thoughts,design characteristics,and practical value,then learns about the status quos of pouch inheritance and design trends among competing products through market investigation,before providing some opinions on the development trend of pouches.Analyzing the aesthetic values and creative thoughts behind Qing embroidered pouches is conducive to promote the understanding on the underlying decorative implications and aesthetic culture.To conclude,the integration of traditional creative thoughts and modern aesthetic concepts by means of innovatively adapting traditional designs into modern applications,has inhaled new vitality into Qing embroidered pouches amid the arena full of diversified cultures and products in the current era.
