Research On Passenger Ship Personnel Evacuation Based On Personnel Evacuation Simulation

Passenger ships maritime accidents will cause huge losses to human beings.With the development of the trend of larger-sized vessel,whether passengers can evacuate within the prescribed time is a vital question.Due to the huge losses caused by passenger ship maritime accidents,the evacuation of passenger ships has received more.and more attention.The IMO has introduced a series of guidelines to conduct comprehensive evacuation analysis and certification of large passenger ships during the design stage,and to make simulation tools for passenger ship evacuation with clear requirements.This paper studies the research methods of ship evacuation at home and abroad in recent years,and finds that in the related research of ship evacuation,the evacuation simulation is the main research method.In order to explore the simulation method suitable for,this paper tries to use the passenger evacuation simulation software-Pathfinder to establish passenger evacuation models for passenger ships from the perspective of evacuation,and give theoretical support for its applicability in passenger ship evacuation.Firstly,based on the requirements of the IMO for passenger ship evacuation simulation,different test plans are designed.According to the evacuation analysis guidelines,the simulation parameters and personnel movement parameters are designed to verify 12 evacuation tests.The simulation results meet the expected requirements of the guidelines.Then,the European "SAFEGUARD" project is selected to construct the evacuation scene,and the simulation data of the evacuation of 1,014 people on the three-deck ship passenger ship is obtained.According to the requirements of the project,four statistical indexes of simulation data and ship experimental data are compared and verified.The obtained simulation data meet the certification standards.It can prove that the passenger ship evacuation model based on Pathfinder is suitable for passenger ship evacuation simulation research..Finally,the evacuation simulation of the cabin layout of a passenger ship's living area is conducted to study the evacuation efficiency of different exit layout schemes for passenger ships after an emergency situation and the locations where human congestion tends to occur.The evacuation time is used as a measure to further optimize passenger ship cabin exit location design.
