At present, researches concerning preparing and manufacturing new building material using solid waste are of great importance.Such material has the advantages of protecting the environment, lowering production cost, and simplifying manufacturing technique. In terms of the development and utilization of solid waste, this dissertation focuses on studying resource utilization of two types of solid wastes:(1)adding the admixture of calcium oxide, sodium hydroxide and commercially available white cement into blast furnace slag to fabricate three alkali-activated slag cementitious materials and then studied the influences of different admixtures and chloride ion erosion on their performances;(2)using waste glass as substrate, floating bead as the substitute of foaming agent, calcium fluoride as the cosolvent to mould and sinter to yield a kind of porous glass material and then studied the influences of different sintering temperatures and raw material ratios on its performance. This essay also studied the mechanism drawing support from XRD,SEM and energy spectrum analysis. The results show that:(1)Cement brick sample fabricated using stimulator and blast furnace slag as principal raw material. The strength analysis of the sodium hydroxide stimulated test block demonstrates that it has significant strength advantage. When the quantity of sodium hydroxide reaches 12wt%,the compressive strength of the test block reaches near 62.5R.When the quantity of cement reaches 50wt%,the compressive strength of the test block reaches 58MPa(52.5R).When the quantity of calcium oxide reaches 12wt%,the compressive strength of the test block reaches 32.5R.In the chlorid ion erosion(5 times the concentration of sea water)cycle experiment, the sodium hydroxide stimulated test block has the best anti-erosion ability. Its surface has scarcely any eroded trace, drop of mortar or bareness. Moreover, there is no noticeable influence on its strength, which is significantly outperformed the other two stimulated test blocks. The results of XRD and SEM tests show that there were only NaCl crystals generated in the sodium hydroxide stimulated test block, with no other erosion products. The dense structure, fine pore structure and stable hydration products of the sodium hydroxide stimulated test block are the reasons of its excellent chloride resisting property.(2)Porous glass sample sintered with waste glass as substrate, float bead added in certain proportion and 5wt%CaF2 as cosolvent. The porous glass has the compressive strength of 0.61-1.17MPa,the heat conductivity coefficient of 0.223-0.432 W/m·K and is fabricated after sintering under 650-730?.When the sintering temperature is 730oC,the proportion of float bead is 30wt%,the porous glass with the best thermal insulation property is obtained—with its heat conductivity coefficient being 0.223W/m·K.
