| With the development of human science and technology,more and more the composite materials with piezoelectric effect have entered the human social life.Such as radio,radar,piezoelectric actuator,sensor,energy converter,etc.Due to the need of development,the new requirements and challenges for material properties have been put forward in some special environmental areas.Boron-nitrogen nanotubes(BNNTs)have excellent mechanical properties,piezoelectric properties,mechanical properties,the thermal conductance and the oxidation resistance,as well as stable semiconductor properties.Therefore,the reinforcing materials is BNNTs and the matrix materials is PVDF,which synthesize the new intelligent composites.lt have very broad application prospects in physics,chemistry,machinery,Aerospace and other fields,and have attracted more and more researchers’ attention.In this paper,the static and dynamic characteristics of BNNTs reinforced piezoelectric plates and shells under electric-thermal-mechanical loads are studied.Firstly,this paper summarizes in detail the research background,research significance,research status,and the discovery and application of piezoelectric effect of BNNTs reinforced piezoelectric plates and shells under electro-thermal-mechanical loads.Then the constitutive relationship of BNNTs reinforced piezoelectric plates and shells is established by using the classical plates and shells theory and the piezoelectric theory with thermal effect.The material constants are calculated by the XY rectangular model.The governing equations are derived by variational method or Lagrange equation,and solved by difference discretization,iteration method or Bobnov-Galerkin method and harmonic balance method.The governing equations are deduced by variational method or Lagrange equation,which are solved by difference discretization method,iteration method or Bobnov-Galerkin method and harmonic balance method.Finally,in the corresponding calculation cases,the factors such as voltage,temperature,load,volume ratio,boundary conditions and material properties,etc are discussed in detail to analyze the non-linear bending,dynamic stability and bifurcation and chaos of BNNTs reinforced piezoelectric plates and shells.Finally,the research work of this paper is summarized,andother possible studies on the static and dynamic behavior of BNNTs reinforced piezoelectric plates and shells under electric-thermal-mechanical loads are introduced. |
