Study On The Land Use Multi-functionality In The Surrounding Communities Of Nature Reserves

As an important social and economic resource and ecological resource,land is not only simply providing food for human development,but also meeting the increasing economic,social,cultural and ecological needs,the land use function is gradually diversified,and the diversity of land use function directly affects regional socio-economic development and ecological environment,affecting the sustainability of land use.Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has developed rapidly,most of the nature reserves and surrounding communities are geographically remote and economic development is relative backward,the demand for natural resources by community residents is increasing,which is easy to cause damage to the ecological environment.Therefore,land use of the communities around the nature reserve is more unique,more sensitive to local ecology.The analysis of land use multi-functionality was based on the natural resource endowment,community livelihood and land use of the surrounding communities of the nature reserve,which is of important significance for guiding the actual land use of the community and improving the overall benefit.Based on sustainable development,human-land relationship,and system theory,using field survey,quantitative and qualitative analysis to consider economic function,social function and ecological service function of land use.By analyzing the development status of nature reserves and surrounding communities in China,this paper summarized the multi-functional land use pattern in the surrounding communities of nature reserves.According to the past research,using economic discounting,income reduction and other estimation methods to establish a estimation method for qualifying land use multi-functional value in surrounding communities of nature reserves,and analyzing the relationship between different functions and their impacts on nature reserves.Taking Yunnan Yunlong Tianchi National Nature Reserve as an example for empirical analysis and demonstration.According to the above research content,this study obtained the following conclusions:(1)For the special area of the surrounding communities of nature reserves,land use economic and social function are not significantly different from ordinary areas,butits ecological service function is relatively special.The economic function of land use in the surrounding communities of nature reserves in China is mainly reflected in agricultural planting,forestry collection and animal husbandry farming;the social function of land use is mainly reflected in the food security in the social stability value,the old-age security and employment security in the basic security value;the value of land use ecological service function is represented by gas regulation,climate regulation,hydrological regulation,soil conservation,waste treatment,maintenance of biodiversity,food production,raw material production,and provision of aesthetic landscapes.In addition,ecological service function is also reflected in species protection and restoration,invasive alien species,agricultural production materials.(2)Referring to the existing land use multi-functional value estimation method and based on the characteristics of the nature reserve,a set of estimation methods that is suitable for qualifying land use multi-functional value of the surrounding communities of the nature reserve was established.For the surrounding communities of nature reserves,the economic and social function value can refer to the estimation methods of ordinary area,but the ecological service function needs to be improved.The economic function value index involves five aspects of planting,collection,aquaculture,fishery and tourism,and is estimated using the income reduction method;the estimation of social function value involves three aspects: endowment security,employment security and social stability;the ecological service function value needs to be revised by equivalent coefficients,at the same time,consider the input on species protection and restoration,and losses caused by agricultural production materials and invasive alien species.(3)A relatively common view is that in areas with good economic development,the ecology will be damaged.However,in the surrounding communities of nature reserves,the case study reflects the coordinated development of economic and social function.At the same time,the development of ecological service function is not contradictory to the development of economic function and social function.Therefore,the surrounding communities of nature reserves can take corresponding developmentmeasures according to the relevant characteristics of land use to achieve the coordinated development of land use economic function,social function and ecological service function.
