The VideoLog down-hole TV system is a new-generation logging system that uses optical imaging principles to visually display the complex and difficult-to-understand conditions in the form of images,and then the logging staff further analyzes the image data to analyze the downhole.Monitoring and handling of various issues.With the continuous development of logging technology,we realize that the traditional VideoLog network video encoder can no longer meet the logging needs of the VideoLog underground TV system.The main deficiencies are:does not support dual channel code stream transmission,does not support video storage function,Does not support serial port transparent transmission,encoder size is not suitable,etc.In response to this situation,this paper uses the HiSilicon 3518 chip to research and design a new generation of VideoLog dedicated mini network video encoder for underground TV.This encoder design is divided into hardware design and software design.This article starts with the theoretical technology related to the design of the VideoLog network video encoder,and studies the system composition,working principle,working process,H.264 encoding technology,streaming media technology,embedded system composition and development process of the VideoLog underground TV system,Web The server model provides a technical basis for hardware and software design.When designing the hardware,firstly,the overall hardware design of the VideoLog network video encoder is designed according to the actual use requirements,and the HiSilicon 3518 chip is selected as the video processing chip of the encoder,and then designed in accordance with the hardware interface provided by the Haisi official reference manual.Encoder video acquisition module,SD card storage module,Ethernet module,power module,UATR module,NAND Flash module.In software design,first build an embedded development environment,then transplant the Linux operating system to the encoder,and then design and develop the video capture program of the VideoLog network video encoder in sequence according to the software interface of HiSilicon and the system functions under the Linux environment,Video transmission program,video parameter configuration program.Finally,the performance of the encoder was tested in a laboratory environment,and the encoder was verified to be able to perform video transmission,serial communication,and video storage in the local area network.The encoder hardware and software work normally and can collect,transmit,Store high-definition underground video images.Afterwards,several application tests were carried out in the actual logging process,and good application results were obtained,which provided important solutions for downhole casing monitoring and accident handling.
