This article takes the development of the SQG series heavy medium shallow groove sorter as the background,and uses a combination of FLUENT simulation,laboratory test and coal preparation plant test to compare the new shallow groove sorter with traditional shallow groove sorter.After comprehensively studying the impact of the new shallow groove plus the clean coal discharge wheel on the sorting effect,and exploring the combination and selection of the new shallow groove sorting system,the following conclusions were obtained:(1)Simulation from FLUENT As a result,for a6 mm particle,the lower the horizontal flow velocity,the longer the separation time,the better the 6 mm particle separation effect.Decreasing the horizontal flow rate can reduce the lower sorting limit.(2)From the FLUENT simulation results,when the horizontal flow velocity is constant and the upward flow velocity is appropriately reduced,from 0.28m/s to 0.22m/s,the 6mm heavy product particles are more difficult to be brought by the upward flow.The clean coal end improves the sorting effect.(3)Under the condition that the horizontal flow velocity is 0.20m/s and the horizontal flow velocity is reduced to 0.142m/s,the stability of the heavy medium circulating medium in the heavy medium shallow tank sorter is well guaranteed and is not affected by influences.(4)Under the condition that the horizontal flow velocity is 0.20m/s and the horizontal flow velocity is reduced to 0.142m/s,the separation effect of the heavy medium shallow tank sorter is very good,and the separation effect under different flow rates Keep it up.(5)Under the condition that the material is excluded,the ring flow discharged by the discharge wheel is 6.61%of the overflow weir discharge method,and the medium circulation volume is reduced by 93.4%.(6)On the premise of guaranteeing the sorting effect and processing capacity,the SQG3016 heavy medium shallow slot sorter has a lower energy consumption of 22.75kW and an energy saving of 29.60%than the QG3016 heavy medium shallow slot sorter.(7)SQG3016 heavy medium shallow trough separator media circulating flow rate is 419m3·h-1.It is estimated that when the feed size is up to 200mm,the single-meter slot width flow rate is reduced from 193 m3·h-1 to 139 m3·h-1.(8)The SQG3016heavy medium shallow tank sorting system descreening sieve can be replaced by an LVB1861 linear vibrating screen to an LVB1848 linear vibrating screen.The equipment saves nearly 50,000 yuan,and the drive motor power is reduced from 30kW to 18.5kW,excluding civil construction costs The photoelectric cost can save 11.5 degrees per hour.According to the domestic coal preparation plant,330 days a year,12 hours a day,the average industrial electricity price is 0.725 yuan per kWh,which can save costs for a year,33016.5 yuan.
