Slag is a waste slag produced during the blast furnace ironmaking process.Because of its activity and chemical composition similar to that of ordinary portland cement,it can partially replace cement for the preparation of concrete. As a new type of green building material, slag concrete is an important measure to solve the problems of resources, environment and ecology. In actual engineering,in addition to static loads, engineering structures may also be affected by dynamic loads such as earthquakes. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the mechanical properties of slag concrete under dynamic loads. In this paper, through a combination of experimental analysis and numerical simulation research schemes, the ?100mm split Hopkinson pressure bar is used to perform compression tests of different amounts of slag concrete under different impact loads. At the same time,TYE-2000 B pressure tester is used to carry out different amounts of slag concrete. The quasi-static compression experiment was performed using ANSYS /LS-DYNA software to simulate the dynamic impact process of slag concrete. The main contents and results of the study are as follows:(1)Cube compressive strength tests were performed on slag concretewith different slag content, and it was concluded that the compressive strength of slag concrete is greater than that of ordinary concrete when the age is the same under quasi-static load, and the compressive strength of slag concrete It increases with the increase of slag content. When the value of slag content is in the range of 30% to 45%,the strength increases fastest.(2)Dynamic compression tests under different impact loads on different amounts of slag concrete can be concluded that under dynamic loading conditions, the strain rate sensitivity of slag concrete is significant. As the strain rate increases, the peak stress and strength of slag concrete The enhancement factors, specific energy, and peak strain have been significantly improved, which are significantly different from the mechanical properties under static loading. In addition, when the slag content is in the range of 0% to 45%,the peak stress of the slag concrete increases with the increase of the slag content.(3)Using ANSYS/LS-DYNA to model the SHPB test of slag concrete, the reconstructed stress-strain curves under different impact loads are basically consistent with the test results.(4)The failure morphology of slag concrete at different moments under different strain rates was simulated, and the reason for the difference in failure morphology of slag concrete under different strain rates was explained from the perspective of stress waves. The simulationresults well reflect the entire failure process of the slag concrete specimen, which is a good supplement to the test.
