In the permissible emulsion explosives used in coal mines,flame retardants such as potassium chloride,sodium chloride or ammonium chloride are usually added to the water phase to ensure the safety of the emulsion explosives used in coal mine gas-dust environments.However,the introduction of these substances will reduce the stability and detonation performance of emulsion explosives.The chlorinated paraffin is a flame retardant and can melt with fuel oil.By adding chlorinated paraffin to the oil phase,in order to improve the detonation performance of the emulsion explosive,and to ensure the safety of the explosive used in coal mines.In this paper,0,1%,2%,3%of chlorinated paraffin-52 was added to the explosive component,and mixed with composite wax and Span-80 to melt to 95?,and make a composite oil phase.Ammonium nitrate,sodium nitrate and water were dissolved to 110? to make an aqueous phase.First,pour the composite oil phase into the self-made emulsified stirring tank,turn on the stirrer,the rotation speed is 1100r·min-1,pour the water phase into the stirring tank,and stir for 3mins to prepare the emulsion matrix.The amount of ammonium nitrate precipitation was determined after the emulsion matrix was subjected to high and low temperature cycles.The thermal decomposition kinetics of the emulsion matrix sample containing chlorinated paraffin-52 was studied using TG-DSC combined technology,and the experimental data was processed by Ozawa method and Satava-Sestak method to obtain the kinetic parameters and mechanism function of the sample.Emulsion explosives were prepared by adding chemical foaming agent to the emulsion matrix and sensitized.The effects of different levels of chlorinated paraffin-52 on the explosion heat,detonation speed and briance of the explosives were determined by experiments.The results show that after the high and low temperature cycle,with the increase of the content of chlorinated paraffin-52,the precipitation amount and dissolution rate of ammonium nitrate both increase,and the storage stability of the emulsion matrix decreases.By analyzing the thermal decomposition kinetics of the emulsion matrix,it can be seen that the addition of chlorinated paraffin will reduce the activation energy of the thermal decomposition reaction of the emulsion matrix and have a catalytic effect on the thermal decomposition of ammonium nitrate.When the content of chlorinated paraffin-52 in the emulsion matrix is less than or equal to 2%,the storage stability and thermal stability of the emulsion matrix are better,and the detonation speed and briance of the explosive are higher than those allowed for the third-level coal mine emulsion explosive.By adding chlorinated paraffin-52 as an energy-containing flame retardant in the oil phase,this method replaces the current development of adding inert flame retardants such as potassium chloride and sodium chloride in the water phase,which is Permitted explosives in powerful coal mines have important reference value.Figure[22]table[10]reference[86]...
