Aiming at the low efficiency of TiO2 photocatalysis,this paper prepared TiO2 nano powder,metal ions M(Li+,Na+,Mg2+,Fe3+,Co2+,Cu2+,Ce3+,Dy3+,La3+,Nd3+and Pr3+)doped TiO2(M/TiO2)and different Co source(Co(SO4)2?Co(NO3)2?Co(Ac)2?CoCl2?Co3O4)doped TiO2(Co/TiO2)by the high energy ball mill.The effects of the ways of ball milling,ion doping amount,milling time,balls to powder ratio,rotating speed and ball diameter ratio on the properties of TiO2 nano-powdes antibacterial were systematically studied.The X-ray diffraction(XRD),Scanning electron microscope(SEM),UV-Vis diffuse reflection spectroscopy(UV-Vis-DRS),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)were used to analyse the chemical composition,phase composition,particle size and light absorption performance of the prepared nanometer powder.Under the conditions of visible light irradiation,the antibacterial properties of the powder prepared by the inhibition zone method and the shaking flask method are used.The experimental results show that rutile phase disappear and particle size of TiO2 can reach 30?90 nm after milling 3 h under balls to powder ratio of 10:1,the quality ratio of 3:2:1 and rotating speed of 300/450 r·min-1 when select the zirconia grinding ball and anhydrous ethanol as dispersant.Metal ions Mx(x=Li+,Mg2+,Fe3+,Co2+.Cu2+,Ce3+and Pr3+)doping enhanced photocatalytic antibacterial properties of TiO2 under visible light,but metal ions My(y=Na+,Dy3+,La3+and Nd3+)doping have no effect on the TiO2.XRD spectrum analysis show that Mx/TiO2 can generate two phases or three phases after high energy ball mill with the increase of doping amount and in the end rutile phase disappear.UV-Vis-DRS results show that absorption ability of TiO2 nano powder after ball mill has not changed compared with the pure TiO2 for visible light,but nano powder doped TiO2 can cause a shift of absorption sideband to visible light and promote the TiO2 photocatalytic performance.SEM images show that the particles doped TiO2 are uniform and dense,the size decreases with the increase of milling time,and the TiO2 appear reunion phenomenon when ball milling 5 h.Antibacterial experiments show that sterilization rate of Mx/TiO2,Co/TiO2 powder against E.coli and golden staphylococcus are more than 70%,which compared with pure TiO2(0%),degussa P25 TiO2(33%)powder and ball milling TiO2(28.9%)increase significantly.Inhibition zone experiments also prove that doping ions material appear different bacteriostatic ring with the doping amount and ball milling time,which are consistent with the experimental results of shaking flask method.
