Microcellular injection molding technology has many advantages,such as saving materials,reducing warpage,and reducing clamping force,while keeping the mechanical properties basically unchanged.It has been used in high-performance engineering materials,automotive parts,household appliances,etc.It's a new technology facing the future in the field of plastic molding.These high-end fields have strict requirements on the mechanical properties of microcellular plastic products.However,the distribution of cells in microcellular plastics is not uniform and is difficult to describe and define.Usually,experimental methods are used to test the mechanical properties of microcellular plastics.Development cost and time of hole plastic products.In this paper,the joint simulation analysis method is used to simulate and analyze the mechanical properties of microcellular plastics,and the influence of the distribution of cells in the microcellular plastics on the mechanical properties is considered.It is verified that the accuracy of the simulation analysis can reach more than 80%of the actual.Using this method to study the relationship between the processing parameters and the mechanical properties of microcellular plastics,the terminal application of automobile rearview mirror frames was simulated and optimized.Set a more accurate simulation method for evaluating the mechanical properties of microcellular injection molded products.Main research work is as follows:(1)In the field of microcellular plastics,a joint simulation method that considers the unevenness of cell distribution is applied.The Moldex3D is used to simulate the cell information of microcellular plastics.Digimat is used to establish the cell structure model of microcellular plastics.Coupled to Abaqus mechanical finite element software,through multiple software joint simulation to realize the simulation analysis of the mechanical properties of microcellular plastics considering the distribution of cells.(2)The method of simulating the mechanical properties of microcellular plastics by the joint simulation method was verified.The tensile test of the mechanical samples injected by the Microcellular injection platform was carried out.Under the same parameters,the joint simulation method was used to perform uniaxial tensile simulation experiments on the mechanical samples.To verify the accuracy of the simulation method.(3)Use the joint simulation method to obtain the relationship between processing parameters and the mechanical properties of microcellular plastics.Control the other parameters unchanged,change the material,temperature,gas injection volume,injection volume respectively,and perform joint simulation on the mechanical properties of the microcellular plastic,and compare with the experimental results to get regularity,to further verify the accuracy of the joint simulation method.Design and optimization provide guidance.(4)The joint simulation method is used to optimize the rearview mirror frame of the car.Through the adjustment of process parameters,the cell structure of the product is adjusted to make the cell distribution more uniform;according to the simulation results,the structure of the weak part of the product is optimized,and the stress concentration of the rearview mirror frame is reduced.The realization of lightweight and low-cost automotive injection products.
