| Nanomaterials have unique properties of optical,thermal,mechanical,electrical and magnetic,etc.with quantum size effect,small size effect,surface effect and macroscopic quantum tunneling effect,etc.Noble metal nanomaterials,as an important part of nanomaterials,have all features of nanomaterials,and have a strong and continuous absorption in visible light region because of its LSPR(Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance)Effects.Ag-based nanomaterials are widely used in SERS,biology detection and anti-bacteria,etc.with good electrical conductivity,sterilization ability and photo-electricity properties.In various Ag-based nanomaterials,Ag nanoplates have attracted more and more attention and been reported by reason of its unique photoelectric property.Ag-based nanomaterials/semiconductor composites with the LSPR effect of Ag-based nanomaterials board the light response range to visible region.On the other hand,Ag-based materials act as electron to reduce the recombination of charge carriers.In this paper,the synthesis of three kinds of Ag-based nanomaterials was discussed:(1)Ag-Ag2O smooth nanoplates;(2)Ag nanoparticles-decorated Ag porous nanoplates;(3)Ag-Ag2O polyhedral superstructures of nanoparticles.The detailed results are described as following:(1)Ag-Ag2O smooth nanoplates The Ag-Ag2O nanoplates with small size and ragged surface generated on ZnO films through photochemical synthesis,and the UV illumination time was extended to 1-3 hours,the Ag-Ag2O nanoplates with large size and smooth surface were obtained,besides these,the Ag-Ag2O smooth nanoplates also have features of sharp tips and multi-layered structures.(2)Ag nanoparticles-decorated Ag porous nanoplates Ag nanoparticles-decorated Ag porous nanoplates were obtained from the Ag-Ag2O smooth through a way of thermal treatment.The nanoplates after thermal treatment retained the straight edges and sharp tips,but the surface converted to be porous and some small nanoparticles appeared on the porous surface.The quantities of nanoparticles can be controlled by adjusting the heating rate.In combination with pure ZnO,the MO dyes were photodegraded by the pure ZnO,Ag-Ag2O nanoplates/ZnO and Ag nanoplates/ZnO;besides these,TP molecules were probed with Ag-Ag2O nanoplates and Ag nanoplates.As a result,the samples after thermal treatment had better performances(3)Ag-Ag2O polyhedral superstructures of nanoparticles The Ag-Ag2O polyhedral superstructures of nanoparticles were synthesized on ZnO films for the reduction of photoelectrons,the different polyhedral superstructures were also obtained by adjusting UV illumination time. |
