Design And Practice Of Multifunctional Modular Children Table And Chair

Children’s tables and chairs play an important role in children’s learning,games,and life.The advantages and disadvantages of children’s tables and chairs affect the psychological and physical growth of children.Under the increasing emphasis on children’s living standards today,children’s furniture Research has also become a hot topic.However,there are studies on children’s tables and chairs that mainly focus on the single level of the shape,material,structure,function,and color of children’s tables and chairs,and their comprehensive research is not good.The design of children’s tables and chairs on the existing market is mostly an improved design that starts from a single level and cannot meet the growing needs of children.For the special group of children,it is necessary to carry out multi-level and comprehensive research design in order to meet the growing physical and psychological needs of children.This paper mainly uses the questionnaire survey method,interview method and observation method to conduct user surveys,and studies the functionality and modularity of children’s tables and chairs.First of all,analyze the current situation and development of existing children’s tables and chairs at home and abroad,and understand the shortcomings and deficiencies of existing products.Secondly,based on the child ’s human-machine size,start from the physical aspects of children to understand the special characteristics of children ’s growth;analyze the children ’s deep-level needs based on their psychological and behavioral characteristics.Based on this theory,combining the design elements such as the shape,material,color,and structure of children’s tables and chairs,it provides a design framework for the versatility and modularity of children’s furniture.Furthermore,according to the data obtained from market research,the user needs are summarized.Finally,according to the above theoretical basis and survey results,four design schemes were proposed.
