Research On Risk Management Of Large-scale Engineering Projects

The engineering project is a huge system engineering.In the process of construction,the time limit,investment,quality and safety of the project will be affected by many uncertain factors.Especially for large-scale engineering projects,which have the characteristics of huge scale,complex technology,long construction cycle,time and capital constraints,in recent years,many engineering projects have encountered greater problems and difficulties,and some even caused huge economic and even life safety losses.How to fully identify and effectively manage the project risk in the process of pre-project planning and implementation will give strong support and help to the smooth implementation of the project and gain benefits.This paper presents the definition and classification of project risk,as well as the history and current situation of project risk management.Using the mainstream risk management methods nowadays,and combining with a large-scale project,the contents and methods of risk identification,analysis and control are introduced in detail,as well as the execution procedures and operation points of applying these methods in a project.It is of great significance for project managers to understand and master risk management methods and apply them in project practice to improve the level of project risk management.
