Due to its integration of mining,loading,transportation and disposal,the dragline technology has become a widely used in foreign opencast coal mines.The large sized dragline technology has been used in Heidagou opencast coal mine for 13 years which is Chinese extra large opencast coal mine,huge economic benefits were achieved and promoted the development of opencast coal mining.However,since it entered the second mining area in 2017,due to the severe fluctuation of the coal seam and the local rift zone,the dragline efficiency and equipment reliability have continued to decline.The current dragline dumping process has become a restrictive factor affecting the normal development of the mine factor.To this end,the paper takes the second mining area of Heidaigou as a typical research object,and draws down the key engineering technologies such as the feasibility and safety of the dragline from the complicated terrain conditions,the safety operation method,the reverse operation method,the equipment working face parameters and the equipment operation characteristics.To conduct research and analysis on the problem,and then determine the third inverting operation method based on the technical and economic analysis and evaluation of the three possible dragging inverting operation methods including inverting steps,working surface parameter design,applicable conditions,etc.In order to optimize the plan,the safe operation risk of the optimized operation mode was analyzed at last,and corresponding preventive measures were put forward.The technical achievements formed by the optimization design and safety management of the dragline shovel dumping process in this study have a positive guiding significance for the technical transformation of production in the Heidaigou opencast coal mine.The paper has 83 figures,26 tables and 55 references.
