| Titanium dioxide has the characteristics of high output,high whiteness,strong covering ability,low price and stable properties,so it has become one of the most basic and largeconsumption raw materials in color cosmetics.Unmodified nano-scale titanium dioxide particles have the disadvantages of strong hydrophilicity,large oil absorption,easy agglomeration and strong photocatalytic activity,so they are subject to certain restrictions in the application of cosmetics.The addition of modified titanium dioxide to cosmetics can greatly improve the UV resistance and whiteness of cosmetics.This article mainly obtains modified titanium dioxide with excellent performance by inorganic / organic composite modification of titanium dioxide,and then uses the modified titanium dioxide as raw material to make toning cream,and explores the effect of modified titanium dioxide on the performance of toning cream.First,before the modification of titanium dioxide,explore the effects of different ratios of ethanol,propylene glycol,1-2 butanediol and water,and different p H on the dispersion of titanium dioxide in the slurry system.Through the gravity sedimentation test,it is found that when the concentration of the slurry system is 166.7g / L,the ratio of propylene glycol and water is 2: 3,and the p H of the slurry system is 9-10,the dispersion of titanium dioxide in the slurry system is the best.Then,in the inorganic coating modification of titanium dioxide,the effects of the addition amount of silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide,coating order and coating reaction temperature on the modified titanium dioxide were investigated.Through the analysis of the acid dissolution rate,whiteness,degradation rate of methyl orange,SEM and TEM of the modified titanium dioxide,it is concluded that when the amount of silica is 1%,the amount of aluminum is 3%,first coated with silicon then coated with aluminum,and the reaction temperature is 60 ℃,the surface of the titanium dioxide is coated with dense silicon aluminum oxide,and the degradation rate of the modified titanium dioxide on methyl orange is from 30.37 % Decreased to 2.8%,the acid dissolution rate decreased from 43.22% to 31.35%,and the whiteness increased from 88.7 to 90.2.Next,on the basis of inorganic coating modification,adding triethoxyoctyl silane to organically modify it.The effects of silane addition mode,addition amount and modification time on the modified titanium dioxide were compared.Through the analysis of the oil absorption,skin feel,hydrophobicity and FT-IR of the modified titanium dioxide,it is concluded that when the silane is added directly,the amount is 3.4%,and the modification time is 40 min,the silane was grafted in the surface of the titanium dioxide which showed complete hydrophobicity,the best skin feel evaluation,and the oil absorption decreased from 21.3g to 13.2g.Finally,the compound modified titanium dioxide is applied to the toning cream.Through the analysis of the appearance,stability,skin feel and viscosity of the toning cream,it is concluded that when the amount of silica is 1%,the amount of aluminum oxide is 3%,and the amount of silane is 3.4%.The compound modified titanium dioxide can fully meet the needs of toning cream and can be close to the application performance of the internationally leading commercial AC360 titanium dioxide. |
