Catering fume has become a main source of urban air pollution in our country,it seriously affects the atmospheric environment and human health. In addition to oily Particulates, catering oil fume also contains high concentrations and complex types of volatile organic compounds?Volatile Organic Compounds,VOCs?,which not only cause harm to human health, but also serve as an important precursor for fine Particulate matter(PM2.5)and O3,which has a significant impact on the urban atmospheric environment. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the high-efficiency lampblack purifier for the treatment of catering oil fume. This experiment is aimed at the"plate-plate"electrostatic oil fume purifier and dielectric barrier discharge plasma?Dielectric Barrier Discharges,DBD?under different operating parameters, combined with the oil fume concentration before and after entering the equipment and the concentration of each component of VOCs and the computational fluid dynamics?Computational Fluid Dynamics,CFD?,explored the influencing factors of its governance efficiency by the simulation. After determining the optimal parameters of the electrostatic fume purifier,it was used in conjunction with the DBD device to conduct experimental treatment of barbecue oil fume which contains high VOCs concentration, the treatment efficiency of the fume and VOCs combined with the two devices was studied. At the same time, the generation characteristics of VOCs from barbecue oil fume were analyzed based on the data of the sampling points of the equipment import, and the carcinogenic risk?Lifetime Cancer Risk,LCR?,non-carcinogenic risk?Hazard Index,HI?and O3 generation potential?Ozone Formation Potential,OFP?of VOCs at each sampling point of the experimental equipment were calculated using the health risk assessment model and the maximum incremental reaction coefficient method?Maximum Incremental Reactivity,MIR?.The main conclusions of the experiment are as follows:?1?The experiment explored the influence of the equipment parameters of the"plate-plate"type electrostatic fume purifier such as:voltage?10 kV-14 kV?,flue gas flow rate?1.3 m/s-2.0 m/s?,number of electrostatic modules?1-2 groups?,on its treatment efficiency. The results show that for the catering oil fume of about 30 mg/m3,the maximum treatment efficiency of the"plate-plate"type electrostatic fume purifier under the conditions of equipment parameters:2 sets of electrostatic modules, flow rate of 1.425 m/s through the equipment, and voltage of 13 kV,can reach 98%,the reference concentration of export is less than 0.5 mg/m3,and the ideal air volume is 1475 m3/h.The actual maximum control air volume of the electrostatic fume purifier is mainly affected by the uniformity of the flue gas velocity distribution at the flue in the equipment.?2?When using two sets of electrostatic modules,a voltage of 13 kV,a flow rate of 1.9 m/s in the center of the equipment, and the flow rate is about 900m3/h,the average treatment efficiency of electrostatic fume purifiers for grilling oil fume VOCs in the experiment can reach 41.5%;At the same time, the average treatment efficiency of VODs by DBD equipment reached 76.6%at 30 kV,the removal efficiency of VOCs by combining both devices was 86.3%,and the removal efficiency of oil fume reached97.7%.The treatment efficiency of the individual components of VOCs may be related to the stability of the target chemical bond and chemical reactivity.?3?There are 68 kinds of VOCs detected in the barbecue oil fume, with a total concentration of 11402.06?g/m3.The main components are alkanes, alkenes and aromatic hydrocarbons. The carcinogenic risk value?LCR?calculation results show that the LCR values of n-hexane,1,3-butadiene and 1,2-dichlorohexane in the barbecue oil fume VOCs are between 1?10-6?1?10-4,with potential carcinogenic risk; The LCR value of benzene is greater than 1?10-4,which has a high carcinogenic risk; The calculation result of non-carcinogenic risk value?HI?value shows that the acrolein and benzene HI values?596.6 and 5.4?are greater than 1,they have a strong non-carcinogenic risk.In the experiment, the total OFP value of the VOCs of the barbecue oil fume was 50401.51?g/m3.The main OFP contributing substances were:propylene?35.5%?,1-butene?14.8%?,and acrolein?13%?.?4?For benzene,a carcinogenic risk substance, after being treated with the electrostatic fume purifier, the high carcinogenic risk and non-carcinogenic risk of benzene still exist; After combined treatment with DBD,the high carcinogenic risk of benzene is reduced to the potential carcinogenic risk, and the non-carcinogenic risk is eliminated.N-hexane,1,3-butadiene and 1,2-dichlorohexane still have potential carcinogenic risks. In addition, the non-carcinogenic health risks of acrolein still exist after the combined treatment of electrostatic fume purifiers and DBD,but the HI value is reduced by 92.6%.The electrostatic fume purifier reduced the total OFP contribution of barbecue fumes VOCs by 51.4%.After combined with DBD,the total OFP value of VOCs for barbecue oil fume decreased by 92.7%.
