Light-responsive materials can change the spatial configuration of molecules under the stimulation of specific light sources,resulting in huge changes in macroscopic properties.They have many advantages such as cleanliness,easy control,safety,high efficiency,etc.It has a wide range of applications in the fields of gratings,adhesives,and sustained-release drugs.The structure of azobenzene is widely studied because of its small molecular size and fast light response speed,but the basic theoretical research that affects its isomerization transition is still insufficient.This paper focuses on the effect of electron donors on the photoinduced isomerization of azobenzene Basic research.The paper studies the effect of different electron donors on the photoresponse of different azobenzene materials.It is found that azopolymers with flexible spacers can photo-solid-liquid transition.Increasing the electron-donating ability of the electron donor accelerates the photo-isomerization speed of the azopolymer;improves the efficiency of its photo-induced solid-liquid conversion.A total of 12 kinds of azopolymers were prepared in the paper,and 6 of them can realize photo-solid-liquid conversion.1、Study on synthesis and properties of acrylate azopolymerDesigned and synthesized 2 kinds of azobenzene monomers whose tail ends are divided into acrylate and methacrylate,and 2 kinds of azobenzene monomers whose tail ends are respectively acrylate and methacrylate and contain flexible spacer groups,four corresponding polymers were prepared by atom transfer radical polymerization.The study found that azopolymers with flexible spacers have a higher response to light and can achieve photo-solid-liquid conversion,while azopolymers without flexible spacers do not reflect the phenomenon of solid-liquid transition.2、Synthesis and properties of azopolymers containing electron donorsIn the structure of the azopolymer described above,isoelectric donors of methyl,ethyl,isopropyl and tert-butyl are introduced,respectively.The effect of alkyl electron-donating groups on the photoisomerization behavior of azo polymers was studied.Increasing the electron-donating ability of alkyl electron-donating groups can shorten the time required for photo-isomerization and the time required for photo-solid-liquid conversion.3、Study on synthesis and properties of azpolymer containing flexible chainIntroduce 6 methylene flexible chains into the azobenzene polymer molecules containing different electron donors,the study found that the introduction of flexible chains provided corresponding polymers with photo-solid-liquid transition measurement force,increasing the electron-donating ability of alkyl electron-donating groups can shorten the time required for photo-isomerization and the time required for photo-solid-liquid conversion.Through research,we have obtained six kinds of azobenzene polymers that can achieve photo-solid-liquid conversion.It was found that the introduction of flexible chains increased the photo-solid-liquid conversion ability of azopolymer materials,the alkyl electron-donating groups can greatly shorten the time required for photo-isomerization and photo-solid-liquid conversion of azopolymers.Our research provides a certain theoretical basis for the design and preparation of photo-induced solid-liquid conversion azopolymers.The prepared photo-solid-liquid conversion azopolymer has potential applications in intelligent surface treatment and adhesives.
