As one of the main types of lithium batteries for new energy vehicles at present,the square power battery is characterized by the overall cuboid shape.The inner lithium battery core is wrapped by the outer metal shell.As increasing new energy vehicle batteries enter the scrap period,the recovery scale of the vehicle power lithium battery will be improved dramatically.However,a lot of toxic substances can appear in the process of lithium battery dismantlement.The automatic equipment to dismantle the square waste power battery monomer is designed and explored in order to ensure the safety of recycling personnel and improve the efficiency of power battery recovery in this paper.The specific results are as follows:(1)The coring method to separate the shell of the square power battery reasonably is studied in this paper.As we all know,the lithium battery recovery is concentrated on the battery core material,which contains a lot of precious metal elements.It is a kind of necessary raw material for the production of lithium batteries.Therefore,the method to separate the battery shell and the core is studied firstly in this paper.The process of separating the battery shell and the core is simulated by the dynamics analysis module of ANSYS Workbench to determine the way to separate the battery shell and the core reasonably.On this basis,the automatic battery coring mechanism is designed.It is verified by the test.(2)In order to meet the mode of separating the battery shell and the core and design the dismantlement mechanism of the square power battery shell,the dismantlement process of the battery shell is divided into two steps creatively,including shell ring cutting and battery head cutting.Two automatic devices are also designed to dismantle the battery shell to meet the separation requirements of the battery coring mechanism.(3)This paper analyzes theoretically the transmission stability of the cutter mechanism in the working process of the breaking equipment and puts forward the hypothetical reasons.After verifying the hypothetical cause with the method of finite element simulation,a solution is proposed to realize the normal operation of the breaking mechanism.
