With the development of social economy,the automobile manufacturing industry has become one of the pillar industries in China.Stainless steel welded pipes are widely used in different systems such as fuel supply,cooling and discharge of automobile engines.In the production process of stainless steel welded pipe,due to various reasons,the weld is prone to defects such as cracks,undercuts,arc pits,pores,leakage welds,and incomplete penetration;in addition,the surface of the welded pipe is prone to occur during the transfer process of different processing operations.Defects such as bumps and scratches will bring great safety hazards to the final product quality,affecting the economic benefits of the production enterprise and the safety of life and property of the end users.As an important non-destructive testing method,eddy current testing has the advantages of fast detection speed,high detection sensitivity and non-contact detection.It is very suitable for the rapid identification of conductive materials and near surface defects.This study in order to fuel automobile engine with stainless steel welded pipe as test object,based on the eddy current testing technology,design a set of applied to fuel the car engine with stainless steel welded pipe surface and near surface defects detection online automatic detection system,combined with signal processing technology,accurate identification of small cracks and potholes defects,stainless steel welded pipe products quality control to provide technical support.
