In recent years,carbon-based photoluminescent nanoparticles have received more and more attention due to their good optical properties,biocompatibility and low toxicity.This nascent carbon nanomaterial is the so-called carbon dot?CD?.It can be widely used in biological imaging and is a promising alternative to toxic metal-based semiconductor quantum dots?QD?.The advantage of biomass-based carbon dots is that they are non-toxic.At present,the carbon source for synthetic carbon dots is very toxic and pollutes the environment.However,using biomass-based carbon as a carbon source to synthesize carbon dots is non-toxic and harmless,so it can be synthesized in large quantities.This article focuses on the preparation and application of biomass-based polymer fluorescent carbon quantum dots.The main work is as follows:In this study,we use coffee as a carbon source to prepare fluorescent carbon quantum dots?c CD?through a one-step hydrothermal method.The preparation process is simple and efficient,and can be prepared in large quantities.The prepared carbon dots have high-intensity blue fluorescence,and because coffee is used as a carbon source and deionized water is used as a solvent,the synthesized carbon dots can achieve no harm to the environment and biology.And it can quickly detect hexavalent chromium ion(Cr6+).On the other hand,the prepared carbon dots also have good biocompatibility and low toxicity,which enables the prepared carbon quantum dots to be used as fluorescent probes to detect hexavalent chromium ions in the environment and biological systems.In addition,we have learned that the penetration of fluorescence becomes stronger as the emission wavelength of fluorescence increases,and it is more suitable for biological detection.Therefore,in order to further enhance the fluorescence performance of the prepared carbon dots,the application field is further improved.Expanding,we continue to use coffee as the carbon source,through the doping of phosphorus atoms,successfully redshift the emission wavelength of blue fluorescent carbon dots and emit high-intensity yellow fluorescent carbon dots?p CD?,and perform some structural characterizations.The research with fluorescence performance proved the structural stability and good fluorescence performance of p CD,and it still has high sensitivity and selectivity to Cr6+.
