In the process of rapid urbanization in China, some domestic sewage, surface runoff and a large number of external pollutants in urban areas enter the river without adequate treatment, and the pollutant load seriously exceeds the maximum environmental capacity of the river, resulting in river ecosystem damaged, the river showed black and odor pollution. There is a strong contrast between urban river pollution and the needs of residents to improve the quality of their living environment. The comprehensive elimination of urban black and odorous water bodies has become one of the important tasks of urban water management.Aiming at the characteristics of persistent pollution of organic matter and ammonia nitrogen in urban black and odorous water bodies and particulate pollution during rainy periods,it is of great significance to develop urban black and odorous water body treatment technologies that have dual functions of efficient biological conversion and particulate matter interception, and can be flexibly switched. In this paper, using the technical principles of contact flocculation filtration and aerated biological filter,a multi-stage filtration-aerated biological filter combined process for treating urban black and odorous water was developed.Taking the QJ River in the southern city of H as the research object, the effects of different filling filters and the time of membrane suspending in the biological aerated filter on the treatment effect were studied through a small test system, and the multi-stage filtration-aeration was verified through field tests the actual operation effect of the biological filter combination process to treat the urban black and smelly water body. The conclusion of the study shows:(1)The three groups of aerated biological filters filled with zeolite, volcanic rock, and zeolite-volcanic rock combined filter materials were successfully hung on the membrane for 15 d,17 d,and 12 d,respectively, and the combined membrane aeration biological filter had the shortest membrane hung time.(2)During stable operation, the average removal rates of ammonia nitrogen for volcanic rock, zeolite and zeolite-volcanic rock combined filter media aeration biological filters were 89.5%,87.4%,and 93.9%,respectively;the average removal rates for COD were 55.9%,49.4%,61.7%.The comparative study shows that the combined filter material aeration biological filter has the best treatment effect.(3)The treatment effect of zeolite, volcanic rock and zeolite-volcanic rock combined filter aeration biological filter is positively related to the filter filling height and negatively related to the hydraulic retention time;as the concentration of ammonia nitrogen in the inlet water increases, the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen in the three groups of aerated biological filters increased first and then stabilized, and the removal rate of COD first increased and then decreased..(4)The field test results of the multi-stage filtration-aeration biological filter combined process to treat black and odorous water in H city prove that the combined process can remove ammonia nitrogen,COD,turbidity and total p Hosp Horus into85.0%,54.9%,90.0%,54.6%.The combined process can quickly remove particulate pollutants during the rain period to improve the transparency of the water body, and can stably and efficiently remove the ammonia nitrogen in the urban black and odorous water body during the non-rainfall period.(5)Field operation practice has proved that the combined process has the advantages of strong resistance to impact load, stable processing effect, low equipment manufacturing cost, small footprint and simple operation, and has the prospect of engineering promotion.
