Steel cord is skeleton materials which mainly used for tire and tape products.It is the basis for the production of tires,the splicing and stitching of the steel cord are the prerequisites for qualified tire products.In recent years,the research and application of image processing has become more and more extensive in the field of industrial inspection.The use of manual detection of the size of the block of steel curtains,and to determine whether it is qualified,the method has been unable to meet the requirements about the detection accuracy and speed.In order to improve the overall automation level of the tire production line,speed up the processing speed and improve the product precision,this paper studies the relevant theory and has put forward a kind of high speed steel curtain cutting block precision detection system based on the image processing.Aiming at the requirements of detection accuracy and speed,the paper studies the mechanism and method of high-speed cutting accuracy detection,and focuses on solving several key problems in high-speed cutting accuracy detection based on image processing: 1.Obtain the complete image and edge of the detection object accurately,the image acquired by the image capturing device is transmitted to the processing computer with high speed;it is necessary to solve the control method and strategy of the high speed capture of the industrial camera,and also need to solve the high speed transmission problem of the image.2.Through the edge detection method to obtain the detection side of the object which would be detected,ensure the detection speed on the basis of measurement of the length of the detection side accurately;it needs to solve the high-speed detection and high-precision measurement problems of image edge of the steel cord cutting block.In this paper,according to the field investigation of the tire production line and the characteristics of the edge of the steel cord cutting block which will be measured,a high precision steel cord cutting accuracy detection system based on image processing is designed.First of all,collect steel cord cutting block picture through the industrial CCD camera,and then do the operations like the picture preprocessing,edge fitting and a series of image processing to obtain the length of the edge of the steel cord and angle value to determine whether it meets the production standards.Ensure that the size of the cutting block is to meet the production requirements and the two curtains can be accurately spliced and even stitched to reduce the tire product failure rate.The innovation of this paper is as follows: the method of image acquisition is improved to make it more suitable for the factory environment.The method of detecting the edge and angle of the steel cord cutting block based on the straight line is improved.Integrate the image processing system and the steel cord production of the machine tool system to achieve online real-time detection of the steel cord cutting block size,improve the entire mechanized production automation level.This method solves the measurement error caused by the burr of the steel cord cutting block,effectively suppresses the influence of noise,and avoids the large amount of traditional algorithm.Precise fitting is achieved by taking full account of the grayscale information at the midpoint of the edge.Based on the theoretical research and the design of the project,a series of tests about the detection efficiency of the system,the accuracy and the repeatability of the cutting size were carried out.Experimental results and analyses show that the method can ensure the detection accuracy,improve the detection speed,successfully apply the production and achieve the desired goal.
