Pavement damage is common in China’s roads.To minimize the impact on traffic,road repair materials has become a key to solve these problems.Epoxy polymer concrete is a kind of polymer concrete which is made by mixing epoxy resin,curing agent and aggregate.It has the characteristics of early strength growth,excellent mechanical properties and good durability.It is expected to be a new pavement repair material.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the growth of the early strength of the material.In this paper,epoxy polymer concrete is studied,and the quasi-static mechanical properties and mechanical properties of early age are studied.Based on the results of compression test,the compressive constitutive relation of epoxy polymer concrete was established,and the compressive strength of epoxy polymer concrete was analyzed and predicted by the strength prediction model.Finally,by studying the effects of different curing agents on the early age compression and bending mechanical properties of epoxy polymer concrete,a new epoxy polymer concrete material that can be quickly cured and applied to road repair was developed.The main contents of this paper include:(1)The shortest curing time of mechanical properties of epoxy resin was studied by tensile and compression tests of epoxy resin matrix.The curing time range of studying the mechanical properties of epoxy polymer concrete at early age was determined.(2)The quasi-static mechanical properties of epoxy polymer concrete at early age were studied by four-point bending test and uniaxial compression test.The test results show that the epoxy polymer concrete has excellent mechanical properties at early age,and the compressive strength of epoxy polymer concrete can reach the level of C40 cement concrete after 12 hours of curing.(3)Study the compressive constitutive relation of epoxy polymer concrete,establish the constitutive equation,study the compression strength prediction model of epoxy polymer concrete,and analyze and predict the compressive strength of different ages.The results show that the epoxy resin nth curing model can better describe the change law of early age compressive strength of epoxy polymer concrete,and the goodness of fit reaches 0.96.(4)Study the distinctive on the mechanical properties of epoxy resin matrix and epoxy polymer concrete made by different curing agent at early age.Among the four test curing agents,the epoxy resin matrix prepared by the 593 curing agent has the fastest curing speed and the most excellent mechanical properties in the early age.The epoxy polymer concrete prepared by using 593 curing agent can reach 32.0MPa and 9.9MPa after 3 hours of curing.The new epoxy polymer concrete has a fast rise in strength and excellent mechanical properties at an early age,and is suitable for use as a fast-curing pavement repair material.
