With the increasingly stringent national policies and requirements for the treatment of industrial solid waste, the legal and effective treatment of catalytic cracking catalyst residues has become an urgent problem to be solved. In this paper,Lanzhou Petrochemical's catalytic cracking catalyst residue was studied for its resource utilization.Using it as raw material, porous ceramic material with excellent performance was prepared by adding pore-forming agent.Porous ceramic materials were prepared by orthogonal experimental design. The porosity, compressive strength and shrinkage of the sintered samples were tested and calculated.Based on the calculation results, the sintering temperature range selection experiment, binder content range selection experiment, and pore-forming agent type and content selection experiment were carried out.The effects of pore-forming agent content, sintering temperature and binder content on the key performance parameters(porosity and compressive strength)of porous ceramics were studied. The primary and secondary relationship between the effects of sintering factors on the performance of porous ceramic materials shows as the follow: the sintering temperature is the most important factor affecting the porosity properties of the sintered samples,Secondly the addition of pore-forming agent.Less impact of the additive amount of binder. The effect of the pore-forming agent on the compressive strength of sintered specimens is the largest, followed by the sintering temperature. The additive amount of binder is smaller. From the viewpoint of obtaining the optimal comprehensive performance of the porous ceramic material, the sintering process consisting of the three best sintering parameters is that: 10% of pore-forming agent,10% of binder, and sintering temperature of 950°C,which provides a certain reference for the industrial application of white mud preparing the porous ceramic materials.Based on single-factor multi-level control experiments method, the correlation between sintering parameters and key performance parameters of the dual-pore core was investigated. The effects of pore former content, sintering temperature and binder content on the key performance parameters(porosity and compressive strength)of the sintered specimen and the effect of additives on the porosity and shrinkage of the sintered specimen was studied.Using Singh's kinetic equation in the initial stage of sintering, the sintering activation energy of the porous ceramic material at 950°C was calculated experimentally, indicating that the sintering mechanism of the experimental ceramic is a diffusion process, which provides a theoretical basis for the optimization of sintering process parameters.
