With the development of petroleum industry,the petroleum exploitation is becoming more and more difficult.The downhole tools represented by packers play an increasingly important role in the various processes of oil and unconventional oil and gas production,and are applied more and more widely.However,the packer could meet the problems such as wrong sitting seal,automatic releasing,sealing,peristalsis,sealing element failure and other issues,which greatly affected the economy of petroleum drilling operations,so packer performance test is the key.In this paper,in view of the shortcomings of the traditional packer performance test device,the mechanical system and its measurement and control system were designed and researched,and a set of high precision,energy saving,economical and high automatic packer performance test device was developed.This paper firstly improved the test process of the traditional performance test for packer,and put forward a new process method to drive the lifting movement of the experimental wellbore by the active beam assembly,and complete the rigid connection between the test machine and the experimental wellbore,which simplified of the test process and the structure of the test machine.According to the requirements of the test process,the overall scheme of the packer performance test device was designed,including the mobile test machine,the wellhead seal assembly,the experimental wellbore,the compression system,the heating system,the measurement and control system.Mechanical system design of packer performance test device was carried out.The key components of the mobile testing machine were designed by combining the mechanical analysis and the finite element optimization design,including the fuselage of the test machine,the full electric power assembly and the active beam assembly.The well head connection seal assembly was designed,which ensures the sealing performance of the test environment under the condition of high temperature and high pressure,and realized the rigid connection between the test machine and the experimental wellbore,making the test load become internal force.The hardware platform design and motion control strategy design of the measurement and control system of the packer performance test device were completed.Based on S7-300 PLC,the hardware platform of the measurement and control system was built.The control circuit of the stepping motor and servo motor was designed so that the performance test device of the packer had realized the motion control of the combination of manual and automatic,multilevel position,the high precision and the high automation.The measurement and control software of packer performance test device was developed based on.NET platform.The Kalman filtering algorithm was proposed to filter the acquisition signal of the measurement and control system.By establishing the Simulink model of the data acquisition of the packer performance test,the digital filtering of the monitoring signal was realized in the upper computer software.Based on the dynamic link library provided by Prodave software package,the encapsulation of C# communication library function was completed,which overcame the difficult problem of the data communication with high frequency between the upper computer and S7-300 PLC based on the advanced language.Also multithreading technology was used to efficiently implement the multitask operation of digital filter,data monitoring,control operation,image display and report printing.
