Natural gas,as a clean energy and the third largest energy after coal and oil,its exploitation is driving effect for economic and social development.More and more attention about eco-environment,special the fragile eco-environment,is received with the rapid development of natural gas industry. The way to coordinate the relation between natural gas exploitation and eco-environment protection and achieve harmonious coexistence between man and nature is an important issue that muse be considered under the expectation of natural gas.Based on the investigation and analysis of the environmental impact assessment of natural gas long-distance pipeline at home and abroad, this paper systematically expounds the connotation, process, evaluation level, evaluation content and evaluation method of environmental impact assessment of long distance natural gas transmission pipeline.Further effect on natural gas pipeline construction waste gas, waste water, solid waste and noise emissions on the environment caused by the four aspects are analyzed, the Xinjiang Guangdong Zhejiang pipe(Sinopec Xinjiang coal gas pipeline engineering)as an example, using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of waste gas, waste water, solid waste and noise to the environment the degree of using remote sensing survey analysis of long distance gas pipeline construction to the ecological environment, and puts forward the corresponding measures of environmental protection.
