Energy conservation is an essential role in the management of the sucker rod pumping systems.More than 10 billion kWh are consumed by sucker rod pumping units in China each year,but the average efficiency is about only 25-31%.Therefore,there is a vast potential for energy savings of the sucker rod pumping units.This thesis introduced the new method for calculating power efficiency and also the new technology for evaluating and managing the performance of the sucker rod pumping wells.Energy efficiency prediction method was studied in detail,and a new model for calculating hydraulic power was developed.The hydraulic power model considered the effect of frictions and the free gas.Also,the improved model for polished rod power was developed.Based on the developed models,the new diagnosis method of energy consumption for pumping well system was developed.This new diagnosis method uses four types of management charts to evaluate the status of the sucker rod pumping wells.The computer program finished the calculations for the system efficiency,Python 3.5 and the developed models showed high accuracy when compared with the measured values.The developed new method for applying four management charts for single well analysis was performed for the pumping wells,and the technical measures were given for energy conservations. |
