| With the rapid development and fierce competition in global economy,competition among enterprises has evolved into that of supply chains.Supply chain management(SCM),as the integration of product flow,information flow and capital flow,not only focuses on the minimization of supply chain cost,but also emphasizes the optimization of supply chain resource efficiency.As an important link of supply chain management,purchasing management for raw material is an important way for enterprises to reduce costs and increase profits,as well as an important way for enterprises to provide comprehensive competitiveness.Therefore,strengthening the management of raw material procurement is a hot issue of general concern in the manufacturing industry.Honour company is a high-tech enterprise,which focuses on research and development and manufacturing of modified PC.There are some serious problems in the management of raw materials,such as low qualified rate and low punctuality rate of incoming materials,and high inventory turnover days,which lead to low efficiency of delivery and supply on one hand and frequent complaints from customers on the other.In this paper,questionnaire survey,brainstorming,data analysis and other research methods are used to explore the problems existing in raw material procurement management of Honour company.The problems were investigated from four aspects: supplier management,procurement process,procurement personnel,procurement cost,the causes of the problems mainly are: lack of rigorous new supplier introduction and selection mechanism and no supplier qualification evaluation mechanism,overcomplicated internal procurement process,low efficiency of procurement staff,no regular bargaining and reasonable order allocation mechanism for suppliers,and no reasonable safety inventory management.Then,under the guidance of supply chain management theory and procurement management theory,this paper put forward an improvement scheme of raw material procurement management,that is to establish supplier selection and evaluation mechanism,optimize internal procurement process,improve working efficiency of procurement personnel,and strengthen raw material cost control.At last,this paper provided some measures to guarantee the implementation of the Procurement Management Improvement Program objectively,impartially and effectively.Through the improvement research on raw material management of Honour company,not only can solve the actual problems of the company,reduce the cost of the company and increase the profit,but also improve the comprehensive competitiveness of the company.Moreover,it can provide systematic and specific reference for procurement management of similar products.It also provides reference for the development of small and medium-sized private enterprises in China. |
