| In this paper,11-mercapto-1-undecanol was combined with gold nanoparticles to detect ethanol gas based on surface plasmon resonance sensor.SPR sensor has the advantages of high sensitivity,real-time monitoring,no need to mark,good response performance.The Au nano particles have the characteristics of surface plasmon,and the gold nanoparticles with appropriate particle size have the characteristics of improving the sensitivity of SPR sensor.The main results are as follows:(1)11-mercapto-1-undecanol,dodecyl mercaptan,16-mercapto-1-hexadecyl acid self-assembled monolayers were used to adsorb ethanol gas and 11-mercapto-1 undecanol was selected as a sensitive substance.(2)The introduction of gold nanoparticles enhanced the SPR signal,in which 12.0 nm gold nanoparticles had the best response to the ethanol gas: The SPR response signal of the chip assembled with gold nanoparticles was significantly enhanced compared to the chip assembled with 11-mercapto-1-undecanol.A series of gold nanoparticles with particle size of 8.3-70.7 nm were used to detect ethanol gas with 11-mercapto-1-octanol.12.0 nm gold nanoparticles had the best response to ethanol gas,the lowest detection limit was 84 ppm.(3)The gas sensor has a reusability: Nitrogen gas was introduced into the sensor chip which had adsorbed ethanol gas,and the angle value was reduced from 44.52 ° to 44.25 °.It is proved that the gas sensor is reusable.(4)The sensor has a good selectivity:The chips with 12.0 nm gold nanoparticles and 11-mercapto-1 undecanol were prepared for real-time detection of ethanol and several gaseous small molecules methanol,ether,acetone and water vapor respectively.The adsorption capacity of the chip to ethanol gas was significantly higher than that of other gas molecules.(5)The effect of temperature on the sensor: 15-35 ℃,The response of the chip to ethanol gas increases with increasing temperature;when the temperature is higher than 35 ℃,the chip response is not affected by the temperature.In this paper,the ethanol gas sensor based on 11-mercapto-1-undecanol and gold nanoparticles explored to improve the response sensitivity of SPR while effectively recognizing ethanol gas,and has good reproducibility and selectivity.It has provided new methods and ideas for ethanol gas detection... |
