Plastic gears are widely used in various fields due to their high production efficiency,low cost,light weight and low transmission noise.Regarding the measurement and analysis of the transmission error of plastic gears,the domestic market is basically blank,and it has only received attention in the world in recent years.At present,“plasticizing steel” has become a trend,and the role of plastic gears is becoming more and more important.Therefore,research on plastic gear transmission error is an important research topic.This subject expands the principle of single-sided meshing measurement of gears into the field of plastic gear measurement,and develops a plastic gear transmission error dynamic testing machine integrating machine,light,electricity and computer.It is the first plastic gear transmission error dynamic testing machine in China.It fills the gap in the field of transmission error measurement and analysis of plastic gears.The test machine can measure the transmission error of the pair of plastic gear pairs and the tangential comprehensive deviation of the individual plastic gears,achieving efficient and precise measurement of the plastic gears.The main research contents include:(1)Research on measurement principle and methodThe definition and measurement principle of gear transmission error are studied,which provides a theoretical basis for the development of plastic gear transmission error dynamic measuring machine.According to the international standard,the relevant error terms are analyzed and compared,and how to calculate the error term from the transmission error curve is discussed.A brief description of the spectrum analysis process of the error curve.(2)Overall design of the test machineBased on the principle and method of transmission error,the overall design requirements were determined,including design guiding ideology and design indicators.The overall design of the dynamic testing machine was proposed and the solution was analyzed.The working principle and system composition of the testing machine are mainly introduced.A brief analysis of the key technologies of the testing machine was carried out.A preliminary error design was carried out on the testing machine,and the influence of each source error of the testing machine on the measurement results was analyzed.(3)Design of mechanical system of testing machineTaking into account factors such as function,accuracy and cost,the overall structural design of the mechanical system of the testing machine was carried out.Key components were designed including precision shafting,gear clamping,round grating and readhead mounting,pedestal,casting parts and drive units.Part of the mechanical outsourcing parts of the testing machine were selected and calculated,including guide rails,lead screws and bearings.(4)Measurement and control system designAccording to the overall requirements of the measurement and control system,the overall design of the measurement and control system was carried out.The design of motion control system and data acquisition system was carried out,including the selection calculation and motion control of motor and hysteresis brake,the selection calculation of circular grating,linear grating and speed torque sensor,and the connection of the whole signal acquisition system.The development of measurement and control software was carried out,including the selection of development tools,the overall design of the software,and the design of the software process.(5)Accuracy verification and prototype testOn the developed plastic gear transmission error dynamic testing machine,the accuracy is verified according to the mechanical system accuracy verification project,method and error requirements.The results show that the mechanical system accuracy meets the design requirements.The accuracy analysis of the testing machine was carried out.The analysis results show that the testing machine can meet the measurement requirements of plastic gears with 5 levels of accuracy and meet the expected design requirements.In order to verify the feasibility of the test machine,a series of functional tests were carried out,including measurement tests at different speeds and different loads,and the transmission error curve was obtained.The measurement results show that the test machine data is stable and accurate.The changes of plastic gear transmission error under no-load,load and different speeds are briefly analyzed.
