In recent years,the safety management of construction industry,coal mining industry,chemical industry and other industries with safety risk has been widely concerned by the society.As the safety management of enterprises can provide a strong guarantee for the smooth operation of safety production activities and control the occurrence of safety accidents in advance,enterprises should continuously exert themselves in promoting the level of occupational safety management.The theory of accident causation shows that human error is the main reason of enterprise safety accidents,which makes the research on stimulating individual safety behavior become the hotspot in the field of occupational safety.To further improve the effectiveness of enterprise safety management,the academic community focuses on how to play the role of safety leadership and how to strengthen the safety behavior of employees.In the face of production tasks,the resources(human,financial,material,time,attention,etc.)of leaders and employees are limited.Safety leadership will urge the subordinate to be on guard against the safety risk and choose the safer operation way to engage in the production task.According to the theory of social learning,the safety leader not only pays attention to the security demands of the subordinates,set safety priority,allocate safety resources for employees,but also sets an example.Subordinates regard leaders as role models,and will imitate the behaviors of leaders,and show more safety behavior.Moreover,the research trend and safety management practice in the field of occupational safety show that the individual’s safety behavior choice is influenced by his psychological state.Therefore,this study introduces safety self-efficacy to analyze the mediating role of safety self-efficacy in the process of safety leadership influencing safety behavior of subordinates,furthermore,the moderating role of team safety climate between safety leadership and safety self-efficacy was explored.Because the construction industry not only has the problems of complex and changeable working environment and uneven level of occupational safety management,but also has the characteristics of outdoor work,personnel flow and construction,large scale of the working group,etc.,as a result,safety management in the construction industry is more difficult than in other industries.Based on this,this research takes the construction enterprise staff as the investigation object,and collects the data through the questionnaire survey way.In this study,412 valid questionnaires were collected.After analyzing the data,the conclusions are as follows: First,safety leadership predicts the safety behavior of subordinates positively.It is shown that the more safety leader pay attention to safety work,the more employees are likely to show safety behavior.Secondly,safety self-efficacy plays an intermediary role in the process of safety leadership influencing subordinates’ safety behavior.According to social learning theory,safety leaders take positive measures(such as setting safety priority,role demonstration,providing resources,etc.),which will make employees have confidence to achieve safety production goals and make better use of safety production skills,to reinforce their safety behavior.Finally,team safety climate positively regulated the relationship between safety leadership and safety self-efficacy.Specifically,with a strong team safety climate of construction enterprises,the safety leadership has a stronger impact on the safety self-efficacy of employees.The conclusions of this study not only enrich the research results in the field of occupational safety,but also provide guidance for enterprises to improve safety management level.On the premise of having a complete safety management system,enterprises focus on training employees’ safety production skills by paying attention to safety leadership practices,shaping the team safety climate and increasing the frequency of safety interaction among the members of the organization,to enhance their confidence and ability to identify safety risks in the face of production safety tasks,which can effectively stimulate the safety behavior of employees,and improve the practice of enterprise occupational safety management.
