In order to meet the comprehensive requirements of modern people for the warmth, thinness and beauty of winter clothing, researchers continue to use new fiber materials and new principles of heat preservation to research and develop thin and warm fabric.Nylon 6 fiber is light,wear-resistant,elastic,soft and skin friendly and it has certain moisture absorption. Its comprehensive performance is better than polyester,so it is widely used in the field of clothing textiles. In this paper, the structure and properties of nylon 6 fabric with absorption and heating function were tested firstly, and the thermal insulation and absorption and heating properties of common nylon 6 fabric and absorption and heating nylon 6 fabric with similar structure parameters were compared and analyzed. Then the influence of dyeing on the absorption and heating properties of PA6 fiber was studied. Finally,a winter men’s suit thermal fabric was designed and developed, and its thermal insulation, heat absorption and basic style evaluation were carried out.The specific work is as follows. In this paper,UV Vis NIR,FTIR,XRD,DSC,SEM and fiber strength tensile tester were used to characterize the absorption value, infrared characteristic peak, crystallinity, apparent morphology and mechanical properties of UV Vis NIR,UV Vis NIR,FTIR,XRD,DSC,SEM and fiber strength tensile tester At the wavelength of 12.5μm,the infrared absorption peak disappeared, which may be related to the infrared thermal radiation produced by the fiber in this band. There were functional particles on the surface and inside of the absorbing and heating PA6 fiber, and the absorption of solar radiation increased in the ultraviolet and visible wave length.Although the crystallinity was reduced and the melting point was lower, the mechanical properties, crimping properties and antistatic properties of the fiber were improved, and the spinnability was excellent. Then the computer flat knitting machine was used to weave ordinary nylon 6 and heat absorbing nylon 6 knitted fabric, and the technological parameters of the knitted fabric were the same. The effect of dyeing on the absorption and heat resistance of the fabric was studied. The results showed that the heat absorption property of nylon 6 fabric was obvious, and the temperature of fabric can increase 4℃on average in 10 minutes under the illumination of simulated sunlight(the illumination intensity is 100 mW/cm~2).But its thermal resistance and thermal insulation performance were not different from that of the ordinary nylon 6 fabric. The knitted fabric woven above were dyed. After dyeing, the absorbency of nylon 6 fabric was better than that of other dyes, such as acid dyes, reactive dyes and disperse dyes. The higher the dye concentration, the better the absorption and heating properties of the fabric.Different colors had little effect on the absorbency of the fabric.Several representative dyed fibers were selected and tested by UV Vis NIR,FTIR,XRD and DSC.The reasons for the above phenomena were analyzed from the internal structure of the fibers. Finally,a suit fabric of 50%wool/30%Sorona/20%light absorbing and heating nylon 6was designed and developed.Compared with polyester blended fabric of similar specifications, the properties of light absorption, temperature rise and heat insulation of the fabric were studied. The results showed that the light absorbing and heating properties of PA6 were good. The tensile, shear, bending and compression properties of the two fabrics were tested by KES style tester, and the stiffness of the fabrics in the basic style was evaluated. The results showed that the stiffness of the fabrics designed in this experiment was less than that of polyester blended fabrics for men’s suits in winter.Through the research of this subject,it can provide reference for the design and development of light absorbing and heating nylon material and fabric in the future.
