Ironmaking and steelmaking processes produce a large number of high temperature molten metallurgical slags,which is expected to replace the water quenching method commonly used at present to achieve energy-saving,water-saving and benefit-increasing of the thermal dry recovery and utilization process has been a technical problem that has not been solved in the iron and steel industry.The high efficiency,high value and stable utilization of high temperature metallurgical slag heat exchange air is an important link affecting its industrialization implementation.Therefore,it is very important to conduct in-depth research on the quantity,thermal quality and matching with the iron and steel industry.In order to solve the problem of utilization of slag heat transfer high temperature air as the main objective,this paper discusses the technology of heat exchange air supporting blast furnace gas cowper stove and boiler,and provides technical reference for iron smelting process.First,based on the calculation of the amount of heat exchange air and blast furnace gas and the quantity in cowper stove utilization process,the utilization rate of hot blast furnace is 37.17%and 27.3%.At the same time,it is pointed out that the current dust removal technology cannot make hot air meet the requirement of dust content of cowper stove process,which is a key technical problem.Second,aiming at the problem of dust content in heat exchange air,a new vortex dust removal system was proposed,and Fluent numerical simulation was carried out to obtain the dust removal efficiency of 74.59%,dust content of 25.41 mg·m-3,which was less than the standard of 10 mg·m-3 cowper stove,but it is suitable for the operation of pre-dedusting of blast furnace gas boiler.Last,based on the calculation of design parameters of blast furnace gas boiler,it is shown that the boiler can use slag heat exchange air 100%,and the operation of the boiler can also adapt to the condition of hot air inlet,which provides a guarantee for the high-efficiency,high-value and stable utilization of high-temperature slag dry recovery heat energy utilization.Aiming at the characteristics of high dust content in slag heat exchange air,an optimized utilization process of fine dust removal at the combustion end of simple dust removal boiler was proposed,and a burner suitable for high dust content was developed,which provided the key equipment for the implementation of the process.By taking 6500 t·d-1 iron-smelting blast furnace as the object,the technical feasibility of cowper stove,blast furnace gas boiler technology and the overall process was evaluated.The annual economic benefit was 63.8446million yuan per year,which could save 182 t of standard coal every day and produce significant economic and environmental benefits.
