Coal resources are one of the mineral energy resources,which are the most abun dant and widely distributed conventional energy sources in the world,accounting for 25% of the world's primary energy consumption.Coal resources play an important rol e in China's economic development and are an important source of national economic development.However,the mining work of coal has some risks,especially hidden da ngers in the safety aspects.Once it occurs,huge losses will be caused.The mine ventilation system is an important component of the coal mine safety p roduction system and is also the basic guarantee for the life safety of the mine operato rs.In the process of coal mining,the ground fresh air needs to be continuously transm itted to various working places in the underground for the operators to breathe,then th e toxics gases and particulate dust in the well are removed and diluted to create a suita ble working environment.Wind velocity monitoring is an important part of building mineventilation system.The precise and real-time performance of mine wind velocity measurement is the basic condition for the mine's safe production and operation,and i s also an important prerequisite for the safety of operators.Based on acoustic wave te chnology,this paper designs a wind velocity measurement system with cross-correlati on algorithm.The main work and innovations are:1.The traditional acoustic velocity measuring device is optimized and improved.Processing the sound source signal and the sound pressure sensor directly to perform cross-correlation algorithm is adopted to reduce signal distortion and noise interferenc e in the measurement environment.2.The sweep signal is selected for the acoustic signal.The sharpness of the sine wave and the pulse signal are relatively worse,and it is difficult to distinguish the maximum cross-correlation value.But the cross-correlation peak of the sweep signal gained sharper performance.3.A set of acoustic velocity measuring hardware circuits which include acoustic wave drive circuit,data acquisition circuit,FPGA circuit,USB data transmission circu it,etc.,is esigned.This circuit system has high acquisition precision,fast transmission rate,and stable and reliable signals during transmission.4.Using LabVIEW software to develop a real-time data acquisition and synchro nization processing system.
