| During the development of bottom water reservoirs in horizontal wells, due to the inhomogeneity of horizontal wellbore inflows,it is easy to cause premature seeing of water, and the water content after the production sees water will rise sharply and the production time will be short, which will seriously affect the overall development benefit of the oilfield. The horizontal well inflow control device represented by ICD provides a new way to control the production profile of horizontal wells.Based on the literature review both at home and abroad, the basic characteristics of horizontal well development in Bottom Water Reservoir were studied through numerical simulation methods.Based on the principle of ICD balanced fluid production,a numerical simulation method for multi-stage wells of ICD completion wells was studied, and the homogeneous oil reservoirs were studied. The adaptability of ICD completions in heterogeneous reservoirs was evaluated. Finally,an optimization method for ICD well completion parameters based on genetic algorithms was established and optimization of actual reservoir ICD well completion was conducted. The results of the study indicate that the completion of ICD completion can significantly improve the production profile of horizontal wells, inhibit the bottom water ridges, and delay the horizontal wells from seeing water.Compared with the traditional horizontal well completion program, the equalization coefficient of the production profile for equal-strength small-diameter ICD design and variable-intensity ICD design is reduced and the time of water coning is delayed;the reservoir heterogeneity significantly affects the effect of ICD well completion. When the coefficient of variation of permeability is less than 0.2,the effect of ICD completion is not obvious. The earlier the time of ICD completion, the more effective the suppression of bottom water ridges is.The greater the number of segments controlled by the horizontal section, the better the effect of equalizing the horizontal well inflow profile. The optimization of ICD choke sizes for an actual reservoir could increase oil recovery and reduce water cut at a certain degree, which shows a good result for oil production stabilization and water control. |
