Paper honeycomb sandwich tube single-filled by polyethylene foam can dissipate and absorb external energy through the deformation of the paper honeycomb tube and polyethylene foam under axial static compression and dynamic impact,it is a new type of non-metallic filled tube cushion energy absorption structure.In this thesis,the cushioning energy absorption characteristics of the single-filled tube under axial static compression and drop impact dynamic compression are experimentally analyzed,the effects of structural parameters and drop impact energy on the energy absorption characteristics of cushioning were studied.The main research contents of this thesis include:First,based on the analysis of the axial static compression test,the cushioning energy absorption of paper honeycomb sandwich tube single-filled by polyethylene foam was evaluated by using specific energy absorption,stroke efficiency,specific total efficiency,and the class of crush force efficiency.The influence of structural parameters(the direction of tube,the shape of tube cross-section and the ratio of tube length)on the deformation mode was studied,the cushioning energy absorption characteristics with the structural parameters of the filled tube was analysed.Secondly,the axial drop impact characteristics under different drop impact parameters of the single-filled tube were tested,acceleration-time curve,displacement-time curve and stress-strain curve were obtained.Specific energy absorption,stroke efficiency,specific total efficiency,and the class of crush force efficiency of paper honeycomb sandwich tube single-filled by polyethylene foam was evaluated.The influence of structural parameters(the direction of tube,the shape of tube cross-section and the ratio of tube length)and drop impact energy(drop height,drop weight mass)on the cushioning energy absorption characteristics of the single-filled tube were studied.Finally,the characteristics of compression deformation and the energy absorption characteristics of paper honeycomb sandwich tube single-filled by polyethylene foam under the axial static compression test and drop impact compression test were compared and analyzed.
