The Application Study On Miao Embroidery In Taijiang County Of Guizhou Province In Modern Women’s Wear Design

Known as "the first county of Miao nationality in the world",Taijiang county,Qiandongnan prefecture,Guizhou province,is the gathering place of Miao compatriots.Miao embroidery here has diverse methods,exquisite workmanship,distinctive characteristics,and extremely high artistic aesthetic value.At present,under the background of intangible cultural heritage inheritance becoming a hot spot and the trend of increasing calls for cultural details on the stage of women’s wear at home and abroad,Taijiang Miao embroidery,with its exquisite skills,history and culture of Miao nationality and unique artistic style,has the possibility and potential of design transformation.Applying the elements of Taijiang Miao embroidery to the modern women’s dress design is an effective way to carry on the dynamic inheritance of it,and also the way to survive and develop the modern women’s dress design in the domestic and foreign women’s dress stage.On the basis of collecting graphic materials and summarizing practical experience,this paper adopts literature research method,field investigation method,object observation method,case analysis method and cross research method to make a special and systematic study on the application of Taijiang Miao embroidery in modern women’s dress design.This paper is divided into six parts:The first chapter is the introduction.Firstly,the origin,object and region of the research are introduced,and then,on the basis of summarizing the research status at home and abroad,the purpose,significance,innovation and main research methods of the research are expounded.Then the structure frame of this paper is proposed.The second chapter,starting from the whole,analyzes the history and current situation,connotation and characterization of the Taijiang Miao embroidery dynamically and statically.The aim is to clearly understand the past and present,internal and external of Taijiang Miao embroidery from a macro perspective.The third chapter systematically analyzes the 11 representative embroidery methods of Taijiang Miao embroidery in terms of technology,branch distribution,materials,artistic characteristics and overall style.In order to understand the particularity of Taijiang Miao embroidery from the micro perspective.The fourth part focuses on the application of Miao embroidery in the design of modern women’s wear.Combining typical design cases in the fashion industry,it analyzes and summarizes the significance,principles and methods of Miao embroidery’s application in the design of modern women’s wear.It provides the theoretical reference of "why,what and how" for the design practice of Taijiang Miao embroidery.In chapter five,based on the previous research results and practical experience,the design practice is carried out with modern women’s wear as the carrier and Taijiang Miao embroidery as the inspiration source.Finally,after evaluating the three schemes of "layer · stack","braids" and "emergence and birth",I chose "braids" to complete the garment production.The sixth chapter is the summary of the whole research process,and puts forward the shortcomings and prospects of this paper.On the application of Taijiang Miao embroidery the following conclusions are drawn: ①For the application of Taijiang Miao embroidery transformation to understand its particularity as the premise,only this party know the key elements of Taijiang Miao embroidery,to avoid the design of Taijiang Miao embroidery transformation lost soul;② The design does not need to retain the traditional style of Taijiang Miao embroidery and design,nor need to reshape the national style of women’s clothing and design,should be in order to complete a better Taijiang Miao embroidery derivative works and design.This paper is devoted to the study of Taijiang Miao embroidery.On the one hand,the cultural survey and representative embroidery methods of Taijiang Miao embroidery are summarized and analyzed to make possible supplements for the existing theoretical research.On the other hand,it explores the application method of Taijiang Miao embroidery and carries out design practice,providing certain reference for the development of related derivatives of Taijiang Miao embroidery.
