Objective:Perchlorate is a kind of inorganic chemical substance,which widely exists in water,soil and other environmental media because of its properties such as difficult degradation,high solubility in water and easy migration.Aiming at the detection method of perchlorate in drinking water,a perchlorate detection method suitable for drinking water with convenience and easy promotion was developed in this study via optimizing the present perchlorate detection technology.At the same time,focusing on the main water system in China,we carried out the investigation study on the pollution level of perchlorate in drinking water in key river basins and key areas in China.Methods:In this study,the ion chromatography detection method of perchlorate in drinking water was optimized.After the optimization of the detection method,we collection source water,factory water and terminal water samples from 17 cities where key river basins locate and 7 key areas,such as the Yellow River,the Yangtze River,the Huaihe River,the Three Gorges reservoir area,the water source area of South-to-North Water Diversion and areas along the channel in wet season,and carried out the pollution level study of perchlorate in drinking water.Results:After the optimization of the present detection method,the detection limit(S/N=3)was determined to be 2.00?g/L and the quantitative limit(S/N=10)to be 5.00?g/L,the concentration of perchlorate radical in the range of 5.00-140?g/L had a good linearity(r=0.9999),the recovery of standard addition with three concentrations was 86.2%-97.2%,and the RSD was 1.2%-2.3%(n=6).Through this investigation,it is found that the total detection rate of water samples was 16.0%and the median value range of detection concentration was 5.03?g/L-12.5?g/L in samples of 50 water plants collected from the key basins.Among the samples of 14 water plants collected from the key areas,the total detection rate of water samples was 54.8%,and the median value range of detection concentration was 9.47?g/L-1788?g/L.In 6 environmental water samples collected from key areas,perchlorate was detected in all samples,the detection rate was 100%,and the detection range was from 5.46?g/L to 20358?g/L.From the perspective of results,there is no significant difference between the detection level in key basins and that in other countries,and the detection concentration level is at?g/L level.The detection level in key areas was significantly higher than that in key basins.Conclusion:The detection method of perchlorate in drinking water optimized in this study has advantages of high sensitivity,good resolution and simple operation,which is suitable for the detection of perchlorate in drinking water.Through the investigation of the pollution level of perchlorate in drinking water in key river basins and key areas,the pollution level of perchlorate in drinking water in China was preliminarily explored,the work content of risk monitoring of emerging pollutants outside the standards in China was further enriched,and the data information of risk monitoring of emerging pollutants was expanded.Based on the exposure level of perchlorate in drinking water in whole river basin and key areas in China obtained in this investigation,this thesis proposed policy suggestions on the formulation and revision of Sanitary Standard for Drinking Water and water environment management combining with the health risk of perchlorate,which would provide technical support for the establishment of standard detection method of perchlorate in drinking water.
