Research On The Impact Of Industrial Agglomeration On Environmental Pollution

Under the background of the rapid development of global industrial agglomeration and the increasingly severe environmental situation,the relationship between industrial agglomeration and environmental pollution has gradually become the focus of scholars at home and abroad.In the context of globalization,the level of industrial agglomeration in our country is also increasing rapidly,especially the number and scale of industrial agglomeration parks are constantly increasing.However,at the same time as the rapid economic development,the environment of our country is also getting worse.Water pollution,air pollution and solid waste pollution are increasing year by year,and the form of pollution control is quite severe.Industrial agglomeration is a new form of industrial organization in the contemporary era.The core issue of this paper is the impact of industrial agglomeration development on environmental pollution.This article first reviews the relevant domestic and foreign literature on the impact of industrial agglomeration on environmental pollution,and then discusses and analyzes several action mechanisms and paths that industrial agglomeration may have on environmental pollution.Then this paper discusses the current status of industrial agglomeration development and the status of environmental pollution in China at this stage,and then chooses a fixed effect model to conduct an empirical analysis of the impact ofindustrial agglomeration on environmental pollution.The research period is from 2003 to2015,and the research object is all the 31 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)of our country.Firstly,it studied the impact of industrial agglomeration on the composite pollution coefficient of each province and city,and then studied the impact of industrial agglomeration on three different types of industrial pollutants: industrial waste water,industrial waste gas,and industrial solid waste.The results of the empirical research show that there is a positive correlation between industrial agglomeration and environmental pollution at this stage in China,and for the three different types of pollutants,there is also a positive correlation between industrial agglomeration and them.That means,the development of industrial agglomeration has made our country’s environmental pollution even more serious.Based on this research conclusion,this paper combines the current status of China ’s industrial agglomeration and environmental pollution,and puts forward a series of targeted opinions and suggestions on the future development of industrial agglomeration and pollution control in the future,including suggestions on industrial agglomeration,investment in fixed assets,industrial structure,economic growth and population size,and foreign trade,in the hope that we can realize the coordinated development of China’s industrial economy and environment.
