| Stainless steel is widely used in industry,transportation and aviation because of its good comprehensive performance.However,stainless steel material plasticity,hi gh hardness,work hardening phenomenon is serious,is a difficult material,cutting quality difficult to control.There are many kinds of stainless steel.In this paper,304 stainless steel,a ty pical material in stainless steel,is taken as the research object.Finite element simul ation software is used to simulate the cutting process of 304 stainless steel.Theoret ical modeling,software analysis and experimental research are used in this paper.T he main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)On the basis of reading a lot of domestic and foreign literatures,this pap er summarizes the research status of 304 stainless steel cutting,the research status of physical simulation of metal cutting,the research status of cutting force and surf ace roughness,and the research status of dry metal cutting,and expounds the resea rch significance of this topic.(2)This paper analyzes the cutting force,cutting temperature and chip format ion in the metal cutting process,and summarizes the types and processing character istics of stainless steel materials as well as the selection of tool material and tool c oating.(3)The use of finite element analysis software Advant Edge FEM to the simu lation of 304 stainless steel cutting process,designed a simulation of the single fact or experiment,analyzes the cutting speed,feed,turning back and point arc radius o n the influence law of cutting force and cutting temperature,explores the chip form ation process of MISES equivalent stress distribution of workpiece.(4)Dry cutting experiment of 304 stainless steel was carried out with TiALN coating cutter.By means of single factor and orthogonal experiment,range analysi s and variance analysis were used to obtain the significant influence of cutting para meters and tool geometry parameters on the main cutting force and surface roughne ss.The structure and initial parameters of BP neural network are optimized by usin g the global search capability of genetic algorithm,and a surface roughness predicti on model of evolutionary neural network is established by combining the experimen tal data obtained from orthogonal experiment.(5)SPSS software was used to conduct qualitative and quantitative comparati ve analysis of the main cutting force and surface roughness of 304 stainless steel u nder the single factor experiment to explore the correlation between them. |
