With the development of society and the advancement of science and technology,the field of smart materials has flourished.Among them,Magnetorheological Fluids(MRF),as a new type of fluid intelligent material with controllable,low energy consumption,large output and fast response,is rapidly emerging and has attracted extensive attention from many scholars.It is mainly composed of magnetic particles,carrier liquid and various additives in a certain proportion,and has unique reversibility and controllability to magnetic fields.It has a Newtonian fluid state and can flow freely without applying a magnetic field;When an external magnetic field is applied,its viscosity can rapidly increase and immediately change to a solid state.The degree of conversion changes with the change in magnetic field strength.Once the external magnetic field is removed,it will immediately become a Newtonian fluid,and the change time is millisecond Class.In recent years,magnetorheological fluid has become a research hotspot in the scientific community at home and abroad,and has shown great application potential in many engineering fields.At the same time,with the in-depth study and analysis of the magnetorheological fluid,it can be known that the most important influence in engineering applications is the performance of the magnetorheological fluid itself.Due to the composition of the magnetorheological fluid and the complex environment of its application,various performance problems have not been well solved.Among them,friction and abrasion and settlement stability are the two major factors in the performance of the magnetorheological fluid.Based on the preparation of magnetorheological fluid,material selection,proportioning method and stability principle,this paper has conducted in-depth research on its friction and wear resistance and settlement stability,and theoretically analyzes the principle of magnetorheological fluid settlement stability And lubricity mechanism.At the same time,based on the established method,a suitable test platform for magnetorheological fluids was established.The mainwork of this article is as follows.Firstly,the paper introduces the composition,rheological mechanism and application of magnetorheological fluids,and expounds the research status of magnetorheological fluid preparation technology at home and abroad,the current difficulties and the friction and wear that needs to be solved at this stage.According to the test results,the effects of lubricant additives,surfactants,thixotropic agents,base fluid viscosity and nano-magnetic particles on the properties of magnetorheological fluids were analyzed.Secondly,orthogonal test of magnetorheological fluid configuration with 6 different types and different mass fractions of lubricating additives(oleic acid,hydrogenated castor oil,polytetrafluoroethylene,boron nitride,molybdenum disulfide,graphite)The friction and wear properties of magnetorheological fluid under different lubricants were compared,and the lubricating ability of six different lubricants was compared.At the same time,the wettability under different solid lubricants was studied by contact angle measuring instrument.According to the contact angle,the anti-sedimentation stability of magnetorheological fluid under different lubricants can be compared,and the viscometer can be used for different mass fractions.The magnetorheological fluid was tested for zero-field viscosity,and the viscosity of the zero-field condition was compared,and the stability of the magnetorheological fluid settlement under different lubricants was analyzed.Finally,by analyzing and evaluating the experimental data,the magnetorheological fluid formula with excellent performance is obtained,and the general rule of the lubricating additive used in the excellent magnetorheological fluid formulation is summarized,and then designed according to the use environment of the magnetorheological fluid.A set of performance evaluation indicators. |
